The Ultimate Gangster Movie?
The band is back together as Martin Scorsese, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro reunite for the ultimate gangster movie!
It's just been announced by Robert De Niro that all of the above screen legends are set to star in "I Heard You Paint Houses", the first film bringing De Niro back into the Scorsese fold since they worked together on Casino in 1995.
... Scorsese and De Niro have worked together eight times - some of the best films of their respective careers. Not least Goodfellas.
Speaking to the Observer, De Niro revealed - "It's about a guy called Frank Sheeran who was in the Teamsters [a US union] and claimed to have killed Jimmy Hoffa [the controversial union leader who disappeared in 1977]," he said.
"It's based on a book by Charles Brandt who was Sheeran's lawyer. I'd play Frank Sheeran and Pacino would play Hoffa. Joe Pesci would be in it too."
