Dear Friends and Family,
A quick hello, and introduction to Blueberries bookshelf for you all.
I haven’t decided to leave the legal profession to sell books just yet, so you don’t need to get worried. Those of you who know me well will understand my love and passion for reading. I have been trying to pass my love for reading to Avani, my one year old daughter, although her vocabulary at present only consists of the word ’yes’ (to absolutely everything).
Amarjit and I are creating a home library for Avani, and I buy new books each month for her collection. I find myself constantly buying Usborne books, which is why it was only natural for me to become an Independent Usborne Organiser.

Checkout this great app called Libib, I've just come across. It allows you to create a list of all the books you have by simply scanning the ISBN of each book.
I have just scanned all the books I have brought for Avani this year. I knew I'd brought her a lot, hadn't realised I'd brought her this many 😬

Avani loves wheels on the bus, it's always my emergency go to song when we're in public and she's playing up. It almost a switch flicks inside her and she g...ets distracted with the song straight away, whether she's crying, in the middle of a tantrum or making a great escape.
I knew this book would be a hit with Avani straight away, but I hadn't realised she'd have competition, as her daddy loved the book and forgot for a few minutes which one of them was the child.
What I love about the wind up range is that they are a great sensory activity for Children as well as being a great read.

Super excited to have received my first delivery today. Amarjit thinks I'm crazy adding science dictionaries and maths books to Avani's collection already.
My involvement with Usborne, is more of a hobby than a business venture. I am hoping this page will encourage more of my friends to take up reading with their children, and realise that reading can actually be fun, and is not just an addition to homework.
Usborne offer wonderful interactive books to help engage the minds of little ones to start their journey. From touch/feel, Lift the flap, slide and see and my personal favourite the wind up range.
