We had our Christmas party day for all of our staff yesterday, We heard laughing, we saw smiles and even tears from baby Theo!
"ALL of our care staff received a gift from the company, food and drinks - It was amazing for us to sit and chat with each and everyone of them, i even learned things about some care workers that i did not expect (Irene :D ) I would personally like to say a BIG THANK YOU & I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year - I would be lost w...ithout all of my care team - Sam (Care Manager)"
We also did a mini presentation to 3 members of our care team, although we believe that ALL of our care staff are the very best these three members have gone above and beyond and have been noticed by the management team, care staff and customers. Congratulations to Michelle Gittings (October) & Rebecca Keeling (November) our Mid Staffs carers of the month.

Bluebird Care Mid and South Staffs would like to wish Leukaemia Care the best of luck over the next 2 weekends in Cannock. They are raising awareness of the Spot Leukaemia campaign.

We were very pleased to hear that Leukaemia Care had been chosen as Cannock Shopping Centre charity, for Christmas, this year. They are a charity very close to our hearts and although they may only be small, they do a huge amount of work рЯШН

Sonia completed induction last week and is out shadowing this week, Sonia cannot wait to get going and is looking forward to her new adventure with Bluebird Care. Sonia has commented on how nice all of our care workers have been supporting her :D

This year we are supporting Carers Rights Day 2018, today, Friday 30th November. We want to help carers in our local community find out about their rights and entitlements.
Every day 6000 individualвАЩs take on a new caring role and caring for someone is not easy, but Carers UK are there to offer support.

We have a very special birthday today at Bluebird Care!
One of our customers turned 100 years young today and was very happy to receive a card from the Queen! We would like you all to join us in wishing her a very Happy 100th Birthday!

We posted online last month about the вАЬ4 steps to a smileвАЭ appeal that we are taking part in. Our care staff and office staff are busy purchasing gifts for children and adults that are in social care.
The gifts have started arriving and it was a great excuse to put our tree up extra early! рЯОД we are so proud and excited to be helping such a great cause! рЯОЕрЯПЉрЯОД

Over the last couple of months we have had a lot going on with charity events, raising money for Macmillan and Wear it Pink campaigns.
Throughout we have had amazing staff working hard to support the customers and the team. During August and September we have been able to congratulate some of our carers and would like to share this with you all.
So well done to;... Maisie & Eileen - Carers of the month for August Sam & Helen - Carers of the month for September Amy, Lucy & Linda - Care certificate & probation passes and finally a BIG welcome to the team to Leigh.

For Christmas we have decided to join in with the '4 Steps to a Smile' and send gifts to children who are in the care of the social.
*We will send for a number of gift tags.... *Each tag will have the christmas present wish of a child we are going to give these to the вАШBluebird Angels aka Care workersвАЩ who have requested them. * They are going to buy the gift, pop it in a gift bag and bring it to the office, where we will ensure it is delivered to the correct location in time. * Then hope on 25th December we make as many children smile as possible!

Please stay safe! We have just recieved a call to say that Cannock Chase may be closed from 1pm today due to the high winds we are expecting. There is a yellow warning in place from the Met Office for strong winds.

If it wasn't for starting at bluebird I wouldn't be able to do the job I do now been at bluebird has taught me a lot of skills and knowledge which gave me the opportunity to move on with confidence I do miss working there also and thankful for what I learnt while there.
