Finally we have a local bar back after several years since The Lynton Tavern closed.

Fantastic and a big well done to the Titanic Brewery !

Friendly staff, good beer, great selection of drinks and tasty snacks too.

This is just what the Weeping Cross and Baswich area have been needing.

Coffee, tea, & soft drinks with a great little snack menu from 08.00 to 12.00 then the bar opens if you fancy something a little stronger through to 11pm.

I have visited several times to meet up with friends & family and I can say we are all very happy and well impressed.

Thank you to the Titanic and their staff, I would highly recommend anyone thinking of visiting this café/bar Bod ;-)

Lastly don't forget to ask for a loyalty card to start building your points

A lovely atmosphere and I really like the decor. However, I have given the Bod two chances and both times I’ve been disappointed, mainly due to the poor service and that ‘everything is too much trouble attitude’ from the staff, at times they are just rude! Secondly the wait for the food is ridiculous and it’s not even that nice when it arrives.

You really need to think about kids more, If you have a setting for kids then adults will follow. Within our group we had 2 small children who wanted food, the menu did not offer anything for them so we purchased 2 small (individual) pizza's from Domino's across the way and they eat them in the corner. Unfortunately and only at the end of the night when we were leaving, were we informed of the fact that it was not allowed to eat outside food. Granted we didn't really think about it at the time but we felt it was not handled well by the member of staff. That said, 2 small children eating pizza in the corner whilst a group of adults continued to enjoy several drinks and bottles you would have thought they would use some discretion or spoke to us when they brought the food in.

Very disappointed! Went for my husbands birthday breakfast, ordered and watched other customers receive there orders before us then to be told after 45 mins that they had no sausages! And there would be a wait until they got some from the butchers! Waitress wasn’t able to give us a time when our breakfast would arrive so decided to leave and get a refund.Had just ordered another drink. Refund given on the food only, would have been nice as a good will gesture to have at least had a drink on the house. Won’t be going back for breakfast in a hurry!
