Legs are in bits after this session! As you can tell by the faces being pulled we were both in a lot of pain 😰

Hate speaking to people around the gym and they are talking to me about these detox drinks and some crazy diets they have seen on the internet! Losing weight is much easier than you think .... it just takes a bit of dedication/hard work and consistency with a number of things and you will lose body fat!
If everything you saw on the internet was true then there wouldn’t be a need for personal trainers anymore! There are so many things now that people read or see on... the internet and think that it will change there lives! But what is more rewarding than actually getting yourself in a gym/changing your diet slightly that will have an overall effect on your lifestyle?

A couple of videos from yesterday leg session! Trained with the other half yesterday as I wanted her legs to be in bits ... and they are 🙌🤣
110kg squats yesterday after pre exhausting them on leg extension 😰 not pre exhausted legs in a long time and could defo feel it yesterday whilst squatting! !
... Loving the isolated hamstring curl at the minute! Got to be one of my favourite exercises at the minute as you really feel the burn 🔥

A pretty good leg session yesterday! Focused a lot on isolating the quads and hamstring with some sissy squats and cable hamstring curls 😰
✅ to isolate the hamstring try this Cable exercise! Perfect way to get a real burn in the Hammys! I’ve always hated my hamstring since I tore them both playing rugby a few years about but finally they are starting to get some shape back into them 🙌 Key tip for this exercise is too keep your core strong and bend at the knee... try not to bring in any other muscles (glutes, quads) #personaltrainer #cheshire #gym #training #strength #fitness #legday #quads #squats

Usually everybody uses Sunday as their rest day but I like to get in and do a session to start the day off! Focused more on compound chest presses during today’s push session! Strength has improved massively over the last few weeks! Finally starting to press as much as I was before my shoulder injury 3 years ago 🚑

Amazing session with @dietercorry today! Some heavy lifting today! Finished the session off with some Blood Restricting Bicep curls 😰 first time I’ve ever done these before but could feel the difference massively 😳

Decided to do a bit of power training during yesterday session so swapped normal back squats to seated squats to focus of the explosive power 💥 As you can see from the lunges my legs were shaking like crazy 😳 Had isolated the quads before this with some sissy squats and leg extension so they were massively fatigued! One of my key movements to focus on improving is my deadlift. Having had previous lower back pain I always felt uneasy about going heavy when deadlifting! However my back is better than ever at the moment so decided to increase my weight gradually! Today I got 5x5 at 130kg! Let’s see how much it can improve over the next few weeks!

This week I have decided to change my training programme and turn to strength training. I am focusing on compound exercises which will help massively in increasing my strength. With this kind of training you will naturally put on a bit of size depending you are eating the correct foods/calories.
