Activites and events for families
... The Mayor of Telford Cllr Stephen Reynolds will be attending
We will have Savannah UK headlining and other live bands playing now confirmed as

And Wrekin open mic,Wellington
Keep fit with Elishah Crutchley
The PA system and engineer is very kindly being provided to us by Jock Dreadster at Evolve productions
The Dj and comparing is kindly being provided to us by David Owen
There will be inflatables and rides and food vendors and arts and crafts stalls to keep the children amused !
A mindfullness workshop and a Mental Health first aid tent !
There will be promotional stands to raise awareness of services available for support in Telford and Wrekin!
This event is part of the Telford50 celebrations and being supported by Telford and Wrekin council

Its that reflective time of year eh !!!
Branches has only been running six wonderful months but I feel that we have acheived so much in a short time !!
That is down to the hard work and dedication of all of our Strickland volunteers and staff who are so passionate and a real inspiration every single day !!!
... It humbles me to see you all staff/ volunteers and service users alike making such positive strides to improve your lives and those of others around you !!
Im proud of you all and salute you !!
Keep it up in 2018 weve got this !!!
I hope you all have a good christmas and know that we will be open apart from xmas day ..boxing day and new years day so if you need us we will be there to support you!!

A group of us today completed the three day train the trainer course !
This gives us a license to train people in mental health mentoring and has made us mental health mentors 😊
This will enable us to get out into the community and train people/organisations as mental health mentors and raise awarness of mental ill health !
... Another fantastic opportunity for us and the community so look out for future posts of when we will be running training days.

so we are having a suicide awareness coffee morning tomorrow (Monday 11th September) at strickland house 10-12 in our drop in!
This is to raise awarness of suicide and start conversations.
