Yum yum yum! Brilliant service!

Really responsive staff to messages and yummy food the burgers were very juicy and the chips are lovely thanks so much : ) and amazing cheesecake : )

We’ve been twice for lunch as a family of 4 and it’s been great. Fresh food, huge portions and so reasonably priced. The staff are lovely and good with the kids, also very accommodating when we’ve asked for things.

You’d pay twice the price in Manchester/Northern Quarter for this. Great little place, nice to see something new and different in Leek.

We went to Bread and Batter as it offered gluten free and vegetarian options which are usually difficult to find. The staff were absolutely fantastic and went out of their way to cater for my dietary requirements and the dinner was absolutely delicious for both of us - and very affordable.

The owners were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome.



We will definitely be back next time we are up that way and recommended Bread and Batter to people we met the next day.

We ordered for delivery last night everything we ordered was perfect! Apart from the burger it was still pink inside which was a shame really as that was the only downfall. Delivery was quick. Food was boxed well. Thought at first the cake was abit pricey but well worth the money��

Visited several times, with the family, with a friend, with the kids, with a large group and the food and service has always been spot on on. We will be back and we will be telling all our friends to come visit ��

Visited last night with my boyfriend it was absolutely beautiful,we are already planning our next visit. Food was spot on� all freshly cooked! The lady serving was lovely and couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. As for the price... we couldn’t believe how cheap it was. We definitely highly recommend to others.

O....m....g.... Ordered two burgers a chicken and beef. Quite possibly the best burger I have ever eaten. This is a restaurant quality burger not take out.

Lovely place to eat and very family friendly! Our son has a food allergy and we can't often eat out. Not only was there a wide variety for him to choose from, he was able to have the ice cream too! Very happy and we will return!

Lovely atmosphere, food was awesome (as quoted by my Stepdaughter) The service was super too.

I do agree with a point raised by someone else though, and that's that the door could maybe do with a self close hinge as it gets a bit chilly when people leave and don't close it behind them. That's the only thing we could find a tiny fault with. Everything else about it was fab.

We will definitely be visiting again when we're next in Leek.

I remember this place as (tasty takeaway) buh now love how they redone the place in something new place looks so cool inside and out, very eye catching to, service was super brilliant waitress was very helpful to us questions we asked her about

the menu & give us a brilliant and honest answer couldn't ask for better service as all the staff were brilliant also , mades us feel welcome as which we like when we visited here tonight for a meal we would,

recommend it to anyone who wants something different to visit in leek for a bite to eat food is so tasty and delicious and to chef did amazing job at the food could not fault it!!!. Giving you a 5* for the amazing service, and the tasty food! Be back again! :)

I really like what they’ve done with this place, and it’s always seemed very good value when we’ve been (the kids eat free discount during school hols is brilliant). Portions are substantial and the fish was nice and crispy. I’ve also had the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, which were delicious, and my kids have had the smaller fish and chips and the porridge with summer fruits and honey, all of which was demolished. The coffee’s very good too. The only thing I’m not 100% about is the enamel crockery, but it’s by no means a dealbreaker! We’ll definitely come back.

The onion rings are to die for and it's great to see somewhere that cooks in dripping rather then oil.

Delivery time fantastic and it made a real change to have good old British food delivered to your door .

Called in today for breakfast. It was absolutely amazing. Cooked to order, took about 10mins, quality meat, no fat or grease! Absolutely incredible! Friendly and attentive staff.

Amazing! We learnt that home delivery was available this evening! I had the mince burger with the amazing baconaise sauce! It was delicious! The chips are the best I’ve ever tasted too. My husband had the breaded fish with chips and also said they were the tastiest he’d ever had. Service was extremely prompt especially being in Cheddleton ourselves too! Exceptional restaurant well done!

Absolutly amazing!!! Food was very nice (I had the burger) portion was really good for the price and the chips were on another level. Soft drinks priced also. We has two burgers chips 2x baconasie and a drink each and came to little over £15. Very fresh products and very nice atmosphere! Would return.

I took my mum for Mother's Day bottomless brunch on Sunday. The prosecco was great. however, a few problems with the food the pancakes arrived inedible (rock hard??) and went back, to find out there wasn't any more available.

Food came out at all different times.

My main also rather disappointing, very oily and greasy, I left most of this -made this aware to the waitress who gave 25% off the bill. On the upside, the eggs Benedict were great.

Would consider visiting again.



Following no reply on a private message, I have lowered my rating.

Rude, badly trained staff who then lied when we explained our bad experience.

One in particular offered cheese to a vegan in our group and had a terrible attitude with us.

Food was tasteless, Prosecco was good but id have been shocked if they even managed to get that wrong!

What a shame, won’t be visiting again.
