great food and service can not fault this place really enjoyed my visit today

Went with the Fiancé for a bite to eat for lunch. Ticked all the boxes for a chilled out meal. Glass of wine, and two steaks. Both were cooked how we asked. Pudding was great too. Thanks to Amy as well for being friendly but not too overbearing.

We love the place! We are regulars and have never had any issues at all. The food and staff are amazing. Its beautifull and clean. The prices are outstanding! You cant beat the price for what you get! Its perfect for birthday and anniversary celebrations too and the staff are allways happy to help!! The brewers fayre club is amazing too eseshially if you are regulars, we have saved alot with the club. Me, Stu & the kids love the place!!

The staff were really friendly and helpful and our server Lara went above and beyond to make hatties birthday special .

Went with a few folk from work staff were lovely location was OK nice place by the canal food was average I had chicken burger paid nearly £8.00 for it portions were small will try this place during the day when thier meals are two for ten quid or may have the breakfast buffet

We went for my sister inlaws birthday yesterday . bit of confusion with our booking but sorted straight away . there was 12 in our party. And we we was served by a very polite lady .

Took all our orders and meals came in very good time. Everymeal was correct and all piping hot. Not much left on anyones plates everyone was happy with there meals and enjoyed them . we ordered puddings and was a little disappointed they didnt have many puddings left but being over new year and bank holiday i guess there stock hadnt come in .. But overall a goodnight

We always enjoy coming to the Brewers Fayre, my steak was over cooked, (I asked for medium rare but got well done) however they exchanged it with no problem and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Apart from that everything was excellent.

Visited with hubby and 2 children for breakfast with santa. Easy booking system online. Food choices were brill and the plates were hot. Decent coffee. Kids ate really well. Santa was ok. Shame about the trainers and the tshirt that were on show. (Not 100% santa like) gift was ok for older children however my 4 year old not impressed with a pencil ruler and rubber! Despite that i will visit again as we did enjoy the food it was fresh and hot.

The only criticism I do have I phoned up and asked if we can add I adult and a child in a high chair to my table the said no we are fully booked they could sit on the bar if it not full ..So I said ok then when I came in the place was empty and not many people came in after so I was really disappointed .

Lovely food and very friendly, polite staff. One small negative was my sons burger off the kids menu was very dry could do with a buttered bun and a bit of salad on it other than that everything else was fab.

I attended the pub with 10 other members of family for my in laws 51st wedding anniversary on Sunday 19th March. Although the bar man Lee was absolutely lovely, the other 2 members of staff were quite abrupt and stand offish. The food was typical microwaved meals as you'd expect but on top of what we did order, the in laws were charged for 4 items that we never ordered or received totalling an extra £45 to £55... We even wrote down what we wanted so can't understand why the bill was so wrong!

Had mixed grill steak must have came off a micro cow it was that small. I asked for medium rare came very well done with the odd crispy edge best part of the meal was the chicken and sausage and the unlimited soft drinks.... wont be eating here again

Visited here with my younger sister today, we ordered 2 meals and 2 puddings, food was lovely but it 100% was not worth the wait, we ended up waiting forever for 2 burgers and chips and we waited 45 minutes for 2 small puddings! Which turned out to be 5 profiteroles and squirts cream and one slice of brownie and ice cream! 45 minutes of waiting for 2 minute job which by the way they'd forgotten about, so we were left sitting there watching mayonnaise from our lunch plates start to solidify! No refund was given and not even an apology for how long we were made to wait for both meals, been eating here since it opened but this experience has completely put me off visiting again.

Stayed at the adjoining hotel here previously due to the lack availability of my usual hotel and it was a good experience in the brewers fayre so I was quite relieved when the same issue occurred this time. Sadly ordering exactly the same menu it was completely different, the crisp and tasty chicken wings from the previous visit were greasy and far from crisp and just tasted of...erm...hot, nothing more, also there wasn’t any salad garnish of the previous visit so just five greasy chicken wings and a small pot of BBQ sauce. The chicken burger likewise was the same, very greasy with little taste and the chips were hard, the creamy coleslaw covers the majority of the plate, the picture in the menu is far from representative of the reality. To add some balance the staff were consistent with previous visit and are very friendly and obliging, although not to my tastes but appreciate it maybe to others the food came out very very fast, but likewise to collect my plate on both occasions I hadn’t actually finished my meal. Only exception to the very friendly staff was the bar man at the time who didn’t have any courtesy and had to be directed how to make the very basic drink I asked for, which again resembled nothing like what is shown in the menu. Unfortunately will not visit again.

Went there on Sunday with our grandson and the food was poor quality even the children’s meal was not very nice shan’t be eating here again in a hurry

The food was not very good there was no potatoes and had to wait around by the counter also asked for some mint sauce and there was none. The Gravy was empty the tomato soup was not very good. The guy serving the food had used his hands to pick up some of the meat. I would not recommend this place to any one.
