Went for lunch yesterday 12/2. Booked a table for five, meeting up with old work colleagues for a long awaited catchup! I can honestly say, everything was perfect, couldn’t fault it! Staff were so wonderful & friendly nothing was too much trouble! The food was absolutely lush, I had the chicken & bacon salad, it was so yummy 😋😋 I’m just sorry I did get the girls names as they were so attentive! Even took some photos for us! We were in the cage at 12.30, a lovely Friendly dark haired lady showed us our seats. So if the management can thank her on our behalf, we would be grateful 10/10 😁😁😁

We would especially like to thank Amelia, Sharon, Calvin, and Martin for not only the great food and service but also for their kindness, understanding, and patience when our son had an autistic meltdown. We don't get to take our children out often because it can be too much for them, but never have we been somewhere where we've been moved to tears by such generosity and helpfulness. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back.

Visited for dinner & breakfast (as we did last year)and although the restaurant was busy with several large groups like ours all our food was 100% perfect, although slightly slow service the staff done what they could and ALL staff was polite and helpful good to see some staff from last year...overall good value excellent food & service...booking our next meeting for next year

Visit often, breakfasts, main menu and carvery, always lovely, never an issue :) manager is a really nice guy, always remembers us. Some of the staff are a bit better than others, but they always get there in the end :) never had an issue in over 7years of regular visits.

There was a party of 20 of us for a 60th birthday fantastic service by all staff we were seated in the conservatory out of the way from other customers which was nice staff couldn't do enough for us

Meals were all good, hot food and plenty of it, we were all served on time together nobody was left waiting, we had a cake and this was bought out by staff singing happy birthday which was a nice touch, only 1 very small negative of the car park is quite small and some guests struggled to park, but this doesn't reflect on the service I would just recommend getting there early enough to park, thank you brewers fayre

Great service and the staff were so friendly. Been for breakfast this morning with my 2 children, I mentioned my daughter is dairy free to a waitress just in passing conversation and she could not have been more helpful, I'd already found what I needed as they have dairy free spread and milk on offer anyway but if you have allergies or know someone with them you will know how much of a pain it can sometimes be. Food was great. Can't reccomend enough!

Fantastic service, lovely clean environment

The main reason we go and keep going back is the varied vegetarian items on the menu

*****Breakfast with Santa*****

Absolutely brilliant . Lovely food , plenty of it.

Santa was fantastic, walked around chatting to the children at the tables and whilst the children ate breakfast spending time with everyone. Very festive, a real true representation of what Santa should be.When the children visitors the grotto after breakfast Santa took time to chat with the children and families. Wonderful experience, would definitely recommend .

Only one staff member serving this morning because of sickness...she was rushed off her feet but still smiling and very helpful...order for cooked breakfast was lost in the kitchen and had to re order meaning food was over 1 hour 25mins...luckily the croissants kept us going, a very apologetic Laura Davies was brilliant and waivered the bill even giving the kids who were very patient a balloon, brownie and toy each...breakfast was really nice when it arrived aswell...these things happen, but brilliantly handled...thankyou.

User

The staff were very helpful but the food ......

My starter was haloumi and grilled pepper ......well the cheese was four shavings dried up and the pepper was uncooked.

I ordered unbattered fish well how dissappointed was I ......

It was soooooo dry I managed to scrape some fish off the skin.

Obviously I complained about both .

I chose another starter and was asked to pay another 20p ....what a disgrace after the inconvenience I suffered.....

However the staff were very understanding about the fish course and with no problems promptly gave me my money back....

I don't think I'll return unless I'm convinced the food quality has improved.

Nice restaurant with friendly staff. However, all three of us had smothered chicken and everyone's main dish was extremely over cooked. Some of the meat actually looked burnt.

Used to go here all the time years ago with my mates for food and refillable drinks. Theyve changed the menu since then not to keen on it tbh and everytime i order a dessert it comes out like a cold soggy mess. Twice the past couple of weeks. You lot just dont put the effort in any more and the staff arent as friendly either!

I have used the Orbital very often, at least 10 times a year. It’s a place that is convenient, reasonably priced and the food is normally very good. I am a Coeliac so I have to be careful to avoid wheat, barley and rye and derivatives of them. I had arranged to meet up with some ex work pals for an early Christmas meal on Monday 27th November. We’d all chosen our meals and I had emailed the pub and spoken to Shaf, the Manager twice and been assured that the only thing I couldn’t have with the turkey dinner was the Yorkshire pud, due to it being made with normal wheat flour. I’d chosen the prawn cocktail as a starter, which came with gluten free bread and was very tasty. The turkey dinner was standard pub fayre, unless you’re prepared to pay mega dollar you won’t get a dinner like homemade and for the price we were quite happy. We got a free bottle of Prosecco between us (a small glass each) as well as crackers and the service was great. However within 40 minutes of getting home I was violently sick, my head was pounding and I felt like I’d been in a rugby scrum with the England team (I wish!!). I was ill all night and had to call in sick on the Tuesday, which meant I missed out on 4 hours overtime! I have never had such a severe reaction to gluten. It was only at about 8.30 on Tuesday evening that I felt reasonably normal and was able to keep anything down. Although I’d been assured that the meal was gf it obviously wasn’t or I was given the wrong meal or there was some serious cross contamination. Now I’m very surprised by this, as I said previously I eat here regularly and have always enjoyed really nice meals with no side effects whatsoever, very, very disappointing!

Had the lamb for the second time tonight. first time the lamb was lovley but the mash was awful so this time asked for it with chips but half the lamb was fat. I told the lady whos responce was ill tell the chef. Which really doesnt help the fact that ive paid full price for a fatty piece of lamb.

User

Went today, the 2 meals for £8.99 wasn't available as it was a Bank Holiday so had to pay full price for two meals which were basically awful. Cold chips, over cooked, dry sausages... No thanks... Won't be visiting again

User

Visited today with family for Easter. We travelled from Stoke On Trent and the food was of a very poor quality. Food is of similar prices to high end restaurants in Stoke (Such as Three Crowns/ The Wayfarer) and the food at the Orbital Pub in Cannock was awful. Chicken was stringy/very chewy & had gristle in it. Bacon was also stringy and very fatty. Salad was just lettuce leaves and the tomato sauce came in a small bowl with bits in it which looked like the remains of someone else's dinner Also, Hot Sandwiches went even available like you'd expect at lunchtime! I would highly reccomend not visiting this pub if you're looking for a nice place to go for lunch!

User

Not impressed after several detours today unloaded the children out the car along with several other customers to find small sign on door that you were closed surely could have been better signposted

Had the lamb for the second time tonight. first time the lamb was lovley but the mash was awful so this time asked for it with chips but half the lamb was fat. I told the lady whos responce was ill tell the chef. Which really doesnt help the fact that ive paid full price for a fatty piece of lamb.

Went today, the 2 meals for £8.99 wasn't available as it was a Bank Holiday so had to pay full price for two meals which were basically awful. Cold chips, over cooked, dry sausages... No thanks... Won't be visiting again

Not impressed after several detours today unloaded the children out the car along with several other customers to find small sign on door that you were closed surely could have been better signposted

I went today with my daughter and her husband. Our meal was so small, we all paid full price. And was very disappointed
