Lovely food an amazing play area, service could be improved with staff smiling but I can imagine they have to deal with a lot of complaints wrongly aimed at them x

We had a meal here last night before we went over to the artrix theatre. The meals were ok but the guy that served us who was in the bar area didn't have a clue what he was doing an tryed to over charge us but was then put right by the manager. There didn't seem many staff working for a busy Friday night an the girl said in the bar area the plates weren't cleared away automatically like they do in the restaurant we found that rather strange.

Tables are filthy in the bar part of the pub, I had to ask a member of staff to please wipe it before we ate. Only using a dry cloth ( no sanitizer) they did. No vinegar or sauces on tables, food ok not brilliant but edible, same as the pudding (toffee sponge) very bland. But it hasn't stopped me going back.

Stayed here for 3 days on business recently. Paid for the meal day and wish I hadnt. The food wasnt great, either microwaved to death or deep fried to within an inch of its life. The breakfast was awful too and came swimming in grease so we ended up sticking with cereal and toast. Returning again soon and will probably eat elsewhere. Staff were lovely though which is why I gave it 3 stars.

Staff were lovely always trying to help. Food was ok, a bit dried up.

The play area was great for the kids.

Just felt it wasn’t safe, children could run out into the food area with a blink of an eye. Feel it needs a locked gate or door with a button only adults can use. Very easy to lose a child.

Would be a lot better if you felt your children were safe.

User

Not the best food and the service from one waitress was disgusting very disrespectful and when I complained I didn’t feel like the manager even cared!

User

They are not interested in drinkers .

Not many in there but you still had to wait for glasses to be washed . Lazy staff the place was very untidy. Will not go again .

Play area his fab but that chicken buffey on Saturday his rank the food stone cold taste like rubber the chicken I now you can go up as many time as you like but sorry for £10.99 to eat cold food we went up secon time for fresh food comeing out but that was cold too the kids would not eat it was nasty thay said we had to eat in play area cause all tables booked at

Having stayed in many hotels on a regular basis premier inn is usually top of my list as food in restaurants are normally very good and service impeccable but I found Guild brewersfayer very much below par.

User

Went Friday waited 1 hr 30 for food cold when it arrived at table not the best to be fair

User

Staff were disrespectful. Daughter had a glass of coke in dirty glass when asked to change it they tipped half into smaller glass rather than exchange and said they had no other glasses. Tables were dirty. I have used many brewers fayre so but this has been the worst. Next morning went for breakfast as already paid for. Again tables were sticky and dirty and food was cold with burnt sausage unable to cut. Will never go to this one again

I would actually give 0 stars... we were staying at the travelodge... this was saturday at 2.30pm.. was so quiet . Our food come out so over cooked ... could not bite into the onion rings or mozzerella sticks ... staff were rude not attentive. Rude and preoccupied with talking to their friends. No greeter.we asked for cutlery and just got told over there. The manager well i wouldnt even want to comment. An upside to the story was we didnt want to ruin our next day and went to the toby carvery (was worth the 15 min drive and the food was amazimg and the staff were so helpful well done to toby
