I had the absolute pleasure of getting married at Brockencote Hall on 6th October 2017.

My husband and I fell in love with Brockencote on our very first visit to meet with Lucy the events Co-ordinator. From that moment on she was a god send. Lucy answered endless questions and helped me get everything organised. Each time I visited Brockencote I was treated with warmth and respect by all the staff. They make you feel so welcome.

My wedding day was truly amazing from start to finish. I arrived at 8am with a car full of homemade bits and pieces. The staff helped me carry it all in and had a room ready to store it in. They provided endless coffee and biscuits for myself and my bridal party while we got ready. Lucy came to see me as soon as she arrived to make sure everything was going ok and I had what I needed. I explained where I wanted everything out during the ceremony/wedding breakfast and reception. They definitely delivered! The hotel was decorated to perfection and everything looked fantastic. Throughout the whole day all the staff were very attentive and polite, nothing was too much for them and they all had a smile.

We have been inundated with compliments regarding the food and the hotel itself. Everyone enjoyed the wedding breakfast and buffet. Not to mention the full English the next morning! The guests that stayed over also commented on how nice their rooms were. We even had a turn down service which was lovely they laid out slippers and robes for us, left us some camomile tea and drew all our curtains. Such a nice touch.

We were here for a family wedding and had the whole hotel to ourselves.

Beautiful surroundings, fabulous room....if a little hot, but being able to turn the radiator off and open the window helped! Fruit, nuts, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sparkling and still water all provided. Loved the slippers and bath to be too.

We had our wedding at Brockencote back in December. The venue and food are beautiful but the main reason we decided on Brockencote was the fantastic staff with a special mention to the event planner Lucy. From the moment we booked we felt confident that our special day was in safe hands and the day certainly didn't disappoint. All of our guests commented on how wonderful their rooms were and nobody's glass was ever empty. We can't wait to go back to see the team and to enjoy afternoon tea!

We got married at Brockencote Hall on the 22nd December 2017. It was perfect: the location, the food, the rooms for all of our guests, everything was truly wonderful. We live in Jersey, we only booked in late August and with a three and a half month turn around the staff were incredible! Events organiser Lucy is spectacular: so calm, friendly, full of wonderful advice and just thoroughly kind (I’ve missed meeting with her and bothering her with emails.) I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Brockencote to anybody for any occasion. We are always looking for reasons to return when we visit from Jersey now. We really did have our dream wedding �

We came to Brockencote to celebrate two lovely ladies' special birthdays. The surrounding are beautiful. The meal was outstanding and cooked to perfection. The staff very attentive. We had a lovely time. Highly recommended. Would love the opportunity to stay for a weekend. We will try to do this sometime this year.

Superb! We booked through Secret Escapes and found this hotel exceptional. Upgraded to a Feature room - fabulous! The staff were amazing, so genuine and professional. Lots of lovely little intricacies - turning down your room while you're at dinner, camomile tea prepared for you when you return to your room, home made chocolates (divine) on arrival and many more. We loved the whole experience and definitely hope to return in the future.

My sister had her wedding reception here on 6th May 2017, and it was lovely.



The staff are very attentive and polite, nothing was too much for them and they all had a smile.



The room we stayed in, Room 4 (feature room) was beautiful, they had supplied everything we could want and more, and when we had trouble with the TV they came straight up and sorted it without hesitation. We even had a turn down service which was lovely they laid out slippers and robes for us, left us some camomile tea and drew all our curtains for us :)



The reception was gorgeous, very well decorated, the food was amazing and so nicely presented it was a shame to eat it!



I am so very grateful for your part in making my Sister & Brother-in-law's day a perfect one, the photos in your amazing grounds are just wonderful and I don't think it could of gone any better so thakyou :)

My partner and I were so impressed with Brockencote Hall. We were unexpectedly upgraded to room 12 which was stunning with beautiful views. The staff were fabulous. The breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend

I took my Mum away for the weekend 17/02/18 and found this hotel on travel zoo. We had a brilliant time from the moment we arrived. The hotel grounds were lovely as we drove up to the hotel.



All the staff we great apart from one but forget his name and only briefly saw him on the front desk so it didn’t ruin mine or my mums stay. The gentleman who showed us to our room was very good and helpful throughout our stay sorry forgot his name too but he was excellent.



The room was big and the bathroom was stunning. Plus nice little extras like nuts in the room and homemade cordial in the fridge were an added bonus. When we went down for dinner we were greeted by gracious and well run staff who seated us in the library and asked us for our drink order and went through the 3 menu options on the day. Also has I didn’t want any mushrooms, they went through the options that contained them which was a nice touch.



We were seated in the main dining room and the food was beautiful highly recommended. The beef blade was melt in your mouth. Plus the pecan pie was great. The staff all very knowledgeable and delightful too. Also the young girl who was offering us bread throughout the evening, sorry really bad with names was very good.



Our sleep was very comfy too so always a good sign when staying away. The turn down service again another nice touch and excellently done.



The breakfast was also another highlight great continental offering and cook breakfast offering too. The chopped fruit was delicious and the prunes my mum says were the best she had tasted. I had smoked haddock with poach eggs and this was done perfectly and my mum had a full English which was also delicious.



Has we we were checking out we were offered fruit and water to take on our journey which again I thought was another nice touch and the lady behind reception was brilliant for all our stay really sorry bad with names. Next time I come back and will be definitely coming back I will remember everyone’s names lol.



I have already recommended this hotel to my mother in law and my best friends mum so they will also be coming to visit at some point this year. Thanks you again and see you soon.

I had such a fantastic time celebrating my nephew's wedding to his beautiful bride, Everything was perfect. The food, the wine, the music and the company. Could not fault this beautiful place and especially the bedroom.

Would love to go back again sometime for short break.

From the minute we arrived to this beautiful brokencote hall we were impressed.

From being greeted as we got out of the car to the reception we were really looked after being shown to our room which was a lovely surprise as we had been upgraded to

no.10 beautiful room.

Our bar and then dining experience was fabulous. Must say food was by far the best we have probably ever tasted. Everyone of the staff were really great. Very professional.

Turn down service while we were dining was lovely to walk back into the room to.

Had a Lovely night sleep and woke to have a lovely breakfast in the dining room. Just Perfect we will be returning to this gem of a place. �

Exceptionally high standards from the minute you enter the grounds to throughout the hotel , the staff welcome you show you around take you to you room where fresh fruit � � � fresh milk � jar cookies � tea coffee coffee machine are all complimentary in the gorgeous bedrooms with slippers and dressing gowns

The food and service in the restaurant and bar is excellent, we have had an amazing time here for a family wedding weekend, I can’t praise Brockencote Hall enough for their standards of excellence!

Excellent Afternoon Tea. More than enough to eat, great choice and they got dietary requirements right too. Staff are all very friendly and attentive. The location is superb!

A lovely overnight stay with very friendly and welcoming staff. Our room was beautiful and dinner a true delight. Breakfast had plenty of choice and really enjoyable.

My husband and I celebrated a special occasion by dining in their restaurant for the evening and I was most impressed!



The entire process was flawless, from making the dinner reservation to the reconfirmation via telephone, being welcomed into the foyer by well mannered staff to enjoying pre-dinner canapés/drinks in a spacious lounge.



Not only was the service in the restaurant 1st class but fellow diners had good etiquette which added to the great ambience. The 7 courses were scrumptious and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.



We have dined in many prestigious country manors but Brockencote Hall is by far the best.



A truly superb place!

Went for afternoon tea. Sandwiches scones and sweets were of a very high standard and were thoroughly enjoyed. Knocked a star off from the experience for four reasons -

1) we weren’t given a choice of tea and it was just served. I’m guessing it was English Breakfast when we would have preferred Assam.

2) no one came over to ask if everything was ok during our experience.

3) at £25pp I would expect some hot water to top up the teapot but instead we had to settle for the one pot

4) when both napkins are on the table that is a sign that we have finished yet no one came over to clear the table until we began to leave

This is a beautiful hotel with friendly staff. We boooked via Secrets Escape and had a large beautiful room and bathroom with tea/coffee making facilities, fresh fruit, shortbread and chocolates! The dinner was delicious (although the second course came too soon after the first course for our liking) served by very efficient staff. My only gripe would probably be the price of the drinks, which are more in line with London prices! We hope to return to this outstanding hotel in the future.
