So thrilled to have a new review for our Antenatal Refresher course. If you are expecting another baby come and join Rebecca and Helen and prepare for the arrival of your new family member. A huge thank you for the couple who left us this review.
"We attended the second time parents’ course with B2B and I can honestly say that it exceeded my expectations. I had originally signed up as a way to meet new second time parents in the local area, but we have learnt something new ea...ch week. The course has also forced us to spend some quality time as a couple to think about the imminent delivery and the growth of our family - this can be overlooked when you have a day job and a toddler running around. The group size was small which was perfect to enable us to develop relationships in the short time period. The instructors are personable, approachable and most importantly extremely knowledgeable in their fields. I would have no hesitation in recommending the course to other expectant parents. My partner particularly enjoyed the 'no frills' approach to communication, we were provided with accessible information in a simple format. What more can you ask for?"

There are lots of posts supporting Breastfeeding awareness week. For those who are choosing to breastfeed what would you top 2 tips be for expectant parents who are considering their feeding options??

We welcome The Creative Learning department from Warwick Arts Centre who are currently trying to organise the design for our new Learning Space in the Arts Centre. As part of this process they have a visual artist ready to sketch the ways that various groups in the community use their spaces for meetings.. The purpose of an artist capturing this is to enable WAC to see how different groups use materials and space during a session and then design the layout and interior to suit as many groups as possible.
WAC will attend with the artist who will be sketching in the background while we have a chat with the group about what they need from a community space. .

Pete Nicholl has been attending our coffee mornings for a couple of years and has helped many local parents with their babies. If you have a baby suffering from reflux, colic, feeding challenges, very unsettled then please pop along and see Pete. Consultations are free during the morning and it could make such a difference.

Just home from a free early pregnancy class. One topic we talked about was choice of place of birth. Here is a lovely journey of Warwicks new Bluebell Birth Centre. X

Lovely to see the mums and dads at coffee morning today. We really enjoyed the pre and postnatal round and WOW what an amazing and talented group you are.
We do lose our identity when we become a parent but today highlighted how important it is to try and keep hold of who we are and what we were doing before these little people arrived. I am looking forward to some music, free range eggs, knitting, small running sessions and lots of other things, the list is so long, starting later in the year :-) :-) :-) You are all totally amazing xx

User

Our popular free early pregnancy classes offer a couple of hours to think all this you and baby. A great opportunity to meet other local expectant couples and learn lots at the same time. If partners are up for the challenge we also ahve a pregnancy belly for them to try.
Please read our Facebook reviews :-)

We went to the free pregnancy evening and found it really interesting. It was a relaxed environment where you could ask questions and get to meet other local expectant parents. Helen who led the evening was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend this as a starting point for any pregnant couple.

We just finished this antenatal course tonight and thought it was absolutely brilliant! Lynn is great at teaching and it was actually really good fun. We were dreading being ‘back at school’ but actually ended up looking forward to it every week. The course really has everything you need to know about more without any judgement or being dictatorial. Met some lovely people too and small group sizes meant it wasn’t intimidating. Could not recommend it enough, well worth every penny.

User

We have just completed the antenatal course with Lynn and can't rate it highly enough. It's a nice relaxed environment where you get a full and unbiased view of what to expect when having a baby. I also do yoga with Lynn and can highly recommend that too.

User

We completed our antenatal course in May and absolutely loved it. The course contained everything we needed to know from the process of labour to how to bath a baby and change a nappy. My husband was sceptical about attending but loved it as much as I did and found it really interesting. We've also made some great friends along the way and the coffee mornings on Wednesday are brilliant to attend and meet some new people. I can't recommend Bump2Baby Reality enough, Helen, Lynn and the rest of the team are true experts.

User

Very helpful, informative and great way to meet other parents to be. Helen always took questions and made us feel prepared and aware of our options and of being in control yet adaptable for the various possible birth and pregnancy journeys.

User

Really enjoyed a hypnobirthing workshop with Helen. Gave my husband and I lots of tools to tackle our baby’s birth positively. Was empowering and pragmatic. Thank you Helen.

User

My partner and I attended the hypnobirthing session with Helen. We both found it really useful and my husband was pleasantly surprised by the many ways he could help in preparing for and during labour.

I now feel a lot less scared and more confident about labour as I have so many different techniques available to me. Thanks Helen! Tessa

My partner and I attended the antenatal course with Helen in January and February and we can't recommend it enough. The course itself has been hugely beneficial, it was relaxed but informative and so has really helped us in the journey towards meeting our little girl. Helen was a fantastic tutor, and was happy to answer any questions I had about my pregnancy outside of the course hours.

My partner and I have also met 4 other couples on the course who we hope will become good friends. We have all kept in touch regularly since the completion of the course and have planned to meet once our babies have arrived.

Thanks so much for your help so far Helen! I'll come along to coffee morning once baby girl has arrived to introduce you!

User

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekly antenatal sessions. Each session we were provided with invaluable information, made to feel at ease and always learnt something new. If you’re looking for a friendly and relaxed environment with the chance to meet other expectant parents - Bump 2 Baby Reality is perfect for you. Looking forward to coming along to the coffee mornings over the coming months. Thank you so much Helen for sharing your expertise and knowledge with us! Can’t wait to put it all into practice x

User

My husband and I have just finished our antenatal course with Helen. Helen is brilliant! she gave us a such a wide spectrum of information and tips which have now made us feel much more relaxed and prepared for the arrival of our little one. I had my reservations initially about joining a course worrying it would be too clicky, not being the most confident person in the world. It was not at all like that. Helen made sure everyone is involved and could voice their opinions / concerns. Thank you very much Helen. I will see you at coffee mornings xx

User

My husband and I can’t recommend Bump2baby Reality enough! We initially attended the free pregnancy introductory class and without hesitation then signed up for the course of antenatal classes. We are so glad we did!

Helen is such a fantastic teacher; calm, relaxed and realistic! The classes were extremely informative and always ended on something light-hearted and often hilarious.

We were also fortunate enough to meet a great group of other parents-to-be which made the classes fun and relaxed.

Thank you so much to Helen and her team. We are feeling much more prepared for the arrival of our little one in a few weeks time, and I am very much looking forward to coming along to the weekly coffee mornings in the coming months.

Many thanks again,

Grace & Alex Welbourne

My husband and I attended the bump2baby session at mothercare last Tuesday evening and really enjoyed it. Credit to Helen she was very informative and I learnt a great deal as I am expecting my first in September. Really good advice given and I will be looking into future classes. I would definitely recommend it.

User

My husband Tim and I attended the free early pregnancy course and were really impressed. Helen was lovely and the session was very informative yet relaxed and friendly. I was attending their prep for birth yoga class the very next day!

We have since completed 10 hours of one to one hypnobirthing sessions with Helen. As part of the course we learnt an array on relaxation, massage, birthing positions and breathing techniques which we've practiced outside of the sessions including an ice challenge which has helped demonstrate the extent to which I can now relax and distract from an uncomfortable feeling. It also felt like we were having our own private antenatal classes as Helen is very knowledgeable and able to give us a much more rounded view on topics such as induction, choices associated with normal and outside of normal birth, ultimately giving us more confidence to question if interventions are needed. My husband found this particularly useful. The resources have been great even if at first I found it a bit full on listening to scripts and affirmations every day. I now feel comforted by them and the relaxation and positivity they provide. The real test will be how this helps during our imminent labour and delivery but I certainly feel more confident about remaining relaxed with so many practiced tools and knowledge behind us.

User

Just a quick thank you to Helen for a really fun and friendly Early Pregnancy Class - a great introduction to Bump2Baby and very informative. The class was small which made us nervous, first-time parents feel at ease and although it was a free class there was no hard sell at all for the paid-for antenatal classes - having said that, there’s no need for the hard sell as, if this early session is anything to go by, the course speaks for and sells itself!

User

Joe and I have just completed our antenatal classes and would recommend it to all parents to be, regardless of whether or not it’s your first introduction to parenthood, Lynne is a fountain of knowledge who is very in touch with the latest in best practice, and very supportive and insightful and the added bonus of meeting other lovely couples along the way.

User

I was recommended bump2baby by a friend and it did not disappoint. The pregnancy yoga classes with Lynn were brilliant at creating time throughout pregnancy to just focus on my body and our baby, and was a huge help when it came to delivery of our daughter. The breathing techniques, stretches and positions and the sentiment behind having a strong and positive birth experience were all invaluable.

My husband and I also used the antenatal course which provided really useful information, links to supporting info and great connections to other new parents to be at a similar stage. Without the classes and the group of people we have met this would be even harder than it is!

User

I really enjoy coming along to the Wednesday coffee mornings, it's a lovely friendly, welcoming and supportive group. Post natal group discussions are a really great way to get hints and tips from other Mums. The drinks and biscuits are an added bonus! Thank you to Helen and the team for looking after us all.

User

Been doing the pregnancy yoga with Lynn and it’s been fantastic. Really helped with the physical parts of pregnancy but also to get me ready for my labour in a positive manner!! Not long till labour this time (baby no2) and has made the world of difference

User

Attended the workshop at Mothercare this evening and it was great! Lots of really useful information and guidance to help along the way! I will definitely be in touch about hypnobirthing
