We had a tyre blowout on the M6, 40 miles from home at 10PM at night, spent 2 hours sat on an embankment on a picnic blanket in the pouring rain with 2 young children and husband (stupid insurance company was to blame for the delay). We had umbrellas and macs but as you can imagine is was pretty scary and my son was beside himself with panic and fright. If it wasn’t for the amazing staff at the highway agency and the recovery company we would likely still be stranded. Insurance company were next to useless but everyone else was amazing. The first young lad that came and got us off the motorway when his shift had ended was an absolute angel, he made sure my children were safe and out of the rain. Thank you, we are home safe and sound at long last and I can sleep tonight knowing my babies are safe and tucked up warm and dry in bed. THANK YOU XXX

We had a problem with unloading of some goods in Wolverhampton. late at night we called the company and asked for help. We went there and Sam Burke allowed us to use his fork lift and gave us one of his employees to support us. We are a german towing company and just googled towing wolverhampton and Burke appeared. Broke down on M6 today phoned insurance company for breakdown assistance and they sent this company out to help, the time from breakdown to recovery was 40 minutes, the chap who arrived was Chris, an extremely professional and polite person who without a doubt an instantly likeable person, who represented the company in excellent form. I wouldn’t recommend breaking down on any motorway but if you do these are the people to come to your aid, much better than the AA tenfold
