Visited with family for mothers day atmosphere was good not too noisy and host was very attentive making sure we had everything we needed and was happy with the service which was very good. Would certainly recommend to friends 👵🏻
This was my first time over here, yet my parents assume I have been before...anyways, very welcoming, love the pub inside, very interesting, I love how you have the open fires, amazing! The food was good too, had no issues with that too, I think the only issue is when the general manager came over and said there wasn’t certain desserts in, maybe you should have put that on a black board so all customers can see this when entering so they know not to order anything. Other than very pleasant, will be visiting again soon.
Place was freezing. Yes it was cold outside but it was uncomfortably cold even sitting on top of the fire, one person even had gloves on in doors. Food was good and staff polite but a good job we weren't in a rush and had plenty of things to talk about.
I've been there lots of times before and it's been fine but went there Sunday 4th March and the service was very slow and my mother main meal was cold as she didint tell me till on the way home she said nothing in the pub because it took so long to get are food are table was booked for 3.30 and we did not get out of there till way gone 6 oclook and it was her birthday meal there was 5 of us how had the 3 course and 2 course menue over all was disappointed on this visit and the fire was not on in the eating area so it was very cold.
