I have recently completed ILM level 3 in Management and Leadership at Burton College. This was a well organised course that has given me the skills and knowledge to enhance and build on my career. Steph my lecturer was fantastic and her continual support and guidance helped me throughout the course, no question was left unanswered! I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who is in or thinking about going into a managerial position.

I am currently studying AAT level three Advanced Diploma in Accounting. I would just like to take this opportunity to say what a fantastic experience learning at BSDC is. My tutor is amazing and always has time for each student. I am looking forward to completing my final exam and hopefully continuing my studies of AAT level four at BSDC.

Had a lovely Halloween Meal at The Mulberry Restaurant last night. The students were dressed the part and even did Micheal Jackson's Thriller dance. I had vampire mushrooms on char grilled baguette to start then Beetroot and horseradish sorbet followed by Red wine braised Venison sausage with juniper berries. A lovely cheese trolley to finish off. The cocktails went down a treat too. Than you Denise and the students. Enjoyed.
Good course, supportive tutors, nice students and teachers ..after a year of sixthform college is so much better

Terrible college I studied a counselling conceits qualification here there was no help no assistance with the course or how to complete coursework. I passed my certificate somehow and then enrolled on the level 2 course big mistake I went to one class the tutor was a drafted in tutor who had no idea what she was doing and proceeded to teach us by reading out of a text book she said we all needed to buy ! Needless to say I left and luckily had not yet paid my course fee don’t waste your time here my husband studied a photography qualification here and they didn’t get a camera out once the tutor was useless and didn’t care he passed everyone on the course because there were so many complaints spend your money in a better run college who are interested in your education not your money
Poorly organised and made a mockery of the course i am studying. I'm paying alot of money for a below standard service. I won't be continuing my education at Burton college!
Iv been at Burton college for 3 years now, me and my friends have disability problems so we need to use the LIFTS in the college to get to our lessons and we all got LIFT passes, so when we get to a LIFT, they are ALWAYS FULL !, so now me AND my friends are now always LATE to get to class now ! so big thanks to the students who DON'T HAVE LIFT PASSES for wasting our time !. but i don't mind staff using them, but it clearly says on the signs outside the lifts. STUDENTS WITH LIFT PASSES ARE ONLY ALOUD TO USE THE LIFTS ! and the Bullying at college is disgusting !!!!
In July 2016, two weeks late, I completed a two year Level 3 Business Extended Diploma course at this college. This signalled the end of 12 months of hell in my life at the hands of both fellow students, tutors and other staff. I wished I had left after the first year.
Throughout my last year at the college, I was made to suffer in silence, after verbal abuse by other students which was left undealt with. Due to me being out of the tutor's favourite club.
Unfortunately, in one eight weeks period, I suffered to blows in my personal life which saw my Dad attacked in the street and the loss of my Nan, but despite the tutor knowing this, tutor putted me out of the classroom and had go at me about having negative outlook, as it was affecting the other students, because a student had complained about me. This left me broken and with no one to trust as the Learner Mentor supported the tutor and didn't seem interested in my issues or why it was happening.
This comes from a student that achieved the top grade on the course - Triple Distinction *.
This no reflection of the other services by the college, e.g. library service and counselling service.
Careless teachers
