Ranger Phil hard at work re-decorating the toilets! Currently working on the gents. There will be some temporary closures as he works, but there will always be some toilet provision available.
Well done Phil!

***Important Notice***
Due to unforeseen circumstances the toilets have been closed early as we have no water. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Its's rare to see dark clouds this summer, but they certainly make an atmospheric backdrop to the swaying stems of grass on the hills.

User

Many thanks to one of our visitors Jack Derbisz for these lovely photos taken at Burton Dassett.

**** NEW BINS!****
We have replaced the concrete bins with these much smarter enclosed litter bins. These will prevent the crows from pulling out the rubbish overnight, which causes an ongoing maintenance issue.
With the summer holidays just around the corner we'd like to take this opportunity to remind visitors that BBQ's are NOT PERMITTED in Warwickshire's Country Parks. The recent heat wave has only made this all the more crucial. The grass tinder dry and the fire risk is ...very high.
Thank you for your co-operation in keeping the park safe for all to enjoy.

We had a team tackling the thistles and nettles on the hills on Monday. Ranger Phil has been doing a great job on his own, but there is only so much one man can do!

***NOTICE***
Please be aware that the toilet facilities at Burton Dassett Hills will not be opened over this weekend (Saturday 3, Sunday 4 March).
We apologise for any inconvenience.

User

A very brisk start to the day on the Hills! If it's fresh air you're after, you know where to come!

User

Please note that the road through the park is covered in sheet ice this morning and is very treacherous indeed. The section up the hill is pretty much impassable at the moment. If you are planning to visit today please be very careful.

User

***TOILETS CLOSED TODAY*** Please be aware that due to the weather the toilet block will not be open today (Tuesday 12th December). We apologise for any inconvenience. If you do venture up to the hills over the next few days, (they do look glorious when it snows!) please take extra care and keep safe. The roads in the park can be very treacherous in winter conditions. Thank you.

having worked in London for over 15 years ...one day I just followed the M40 and found this place ....this is the place where I go for peace and quiet, watched the sunrise and the sunset....I only wished that there was someone to watch with and hold hands with.....

User

Wonderful, our family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren all meet on Easter Sunday to roll painted hard boiled eggs down the steepest hill from the tower.

User

Visited today (Sunday 8th May) for the very first time. What an amazing place and fabulous ice-cream from Allan's van! Will definitely be going back - often!

User

Unspoilt beauty, loads of nooks and crannies to play and hide in with your kids (careful of sudden drops)

Beautiful scenery, on a good day you can see for miles

£2 parking for the whole day enjoy the day with a pick nick but bring your own chairs and table as none around, you can sit on the grass if you can find a clear spot without 🐑 muck.

User

I love it on a bright winter morning early when no one is around just to chill on your own and get away from reality nothing else like it in Warwickshire

User

Great place with stunning views. Our dog loved walking through the fields and seeing the sheep and numerous other dogs. Lovely way to spend a day.

User

Great place with great views with a good walk. Its a must place to visit all year round. Great dark skies at night for astronomy and astrophotography.

User

Great place for flying kites and model planes etc. Have also seen people using kites to pull them along on what looks like skateboards. Wide open vast views all round. Fox covert is a lovely walk. Never seen a fox there though. There are toilets in the area too. And great for picnics. You do sometimes get events going on there like Hill climbing

User
