We stopped off at the Button Oak Inn today for something to eat. There was lots of choice on the menu and this really helped with us having fussy children. The food was super tasty and fresh. We took full advantage of the garden and the bouncy castle was a massive hit keeping my three entertained. Thank you so much for a very pleasant afternoon

Last Saturday I was drinking in the Button Oak and unfortunately I missed my bus. Whilst standing outside in the snow contemplating an hours' wait until the next one arrived, the manager Ian came out and offered me lift to my next destination. Which I gratefully accepted. Thank you so much and I look forward to drinking at the Button Oak again very soon (with one eye on the clock)

Fantastic place to go for food, music and to meet friends. A traditional pub with a welcome that visitors and locals can enjoy together. Well done, well worth another visit.

Ps the veggie burger was really good, next time chick pea curry for me!

A hidden gem! Fabulous food and plenty of choice. We're not from the local area and were passing through but the staff were really friendly and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble.

We will be sure to pass this way again in the future.

Had a great meal last night and stopped over in the motorhome, staff and locals very friendly. Highly recommended

Popped in here today. What a mess. Outdoor area was grubby. Tables all wobbly causing drinks to spill. Went inside to order food. What a joke. Menu board had 4/5 choices including Sunday lunch. Nothing else. Really poor choice.

Bar lady miserable could of smiled but seemed to much to ask.

So came out and went elsewhere.

Would never return here or recommend.

Oh dear. Pulled up thinking you might be able to sit outside for a quiet drink, however, as there is no designated smoking area bikers crowded round a table whilst I gasped through the roll up debris and smoke. Pub like this should have clear signage about smoking areas rather than a free for all. Also, food on offer lacked imagination and choice so we passed on that. Shame really as looks great from the road but thats where it ends.
