Tranquillity close to the heart of England on a campsite in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
This Club campsite sits on the edge of one the Midlands’ most popular beauty spots, Cannock Chase. A combination of natural deciduous woodland, coniferous plantations and open heathland the Chase – England’s smallest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – offers boundless adventure and fun for walkers, mountain bikers and dog lovers alike and is perfectly located for exploring the attractions of Cannock, Lichfield, Birmingham and the surrounding area.
Our pretty campsite here is well laid out and bordered by trees. It offers level hardstanding pitches, while grass pitches tend to be sloping. In addition to showers and toilets, the site offers washing up facilities, a site shop offering basic provisions and a family room and there is direct access from the site onto the Chase.
The Chase is definitely the big appeal of this site. As well as its bountiful wildlife, it offers endless walking and miles of exhilarating mountain bike trails, including the famous Follow the Dog trail and new Monkey Trail, which start from Birches Valley Forest Centre.

one of the best kept sites on the camping and caravan books faultless all round
This is a real gem of a place. Staying here this week 17th October.. a lovely warm welcome from the marshals and all the information you need to know. Think it is now the closest poped site to lichfield which is always worth a visit and not far from Cannock and Rugely. But for walkers , cyclists ,and children it's just perfect. Go out of the gate in the field and you have the whole of Cannock chase to explore ....
Only downsides ... but not for everyone .... phone signal is non existent ... and TV signal not much better.. shame they don't do as caravan club sites do on sites I. Bad reception areas and pit a mast so people can plug into it for perfect TV signal. But the plus side are much better than TV and phone signal. There is a payphone on site though. Brilliant place .

Great site this is my 4th visit ...brilliant refurbished facilities ...so quiet and relaxing and great for kids and forest walks...with regards to phone reception...buy WiFi really cheap and use WhatsApp video for calls and txts ....but who needs TV when you have wonderful views.. Great friendly and helpful staff too...Going to book again soon... Love love love this place... Xxx

Fantastic site.. will definitely visit again. Superb clean shower / toilet block. Clean washing up area. Very welcoming ... cannot fault it at all.. lack of phone signal a bonus!!

Excellent well kept site. Very clean.....very smart toilet / showers . Our stay was perfect, peace and quiet. This is one campsite I will use again.
Excellent site, great facilities and the staff were very very helpful. First we had been and they took the time to explain the area, cycle routes etc. Good pitches with a good space either side.
