Its starting to feel a little bit like Christmas here at Carrick! We have received our first advent calendar from our lovely friends at Fred Olsen Cruises.

Hurtigruten is a fantastic experience which many of our clients and Team members have experienced. Sharon from our Evesham office received the enclosed lovely letter from a client. " I just wanted you to know how much we enjoyed our cruise on the Kong Harald in Norway, it was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed all of it. Thank you for recommending them, it was just the right kind of trip for us and for organising the hotel at Gatwick and the flights , everything ran smoothly . The weather was fantastic for most of the time , although sadly we didn’t see the Northern Lights , we will have to have a trip to Iceland to try and see those!"

Sharon from our Evesham office received this lovely email from a client on holiday at The Annabelle Hotel in Cyprus. "Another glorious day here in Cyprus, this is the sunrise & sunset from our balcony,not bad eh! Everywhere we’ve been so far,so many people about,so we’re not the only ones with holidaying in mind! The hotel is as lovely as we remembered it and the new “add-on” blends in well. We have one of the new rooms which is very smart. The food is great, they even have the same English chef. Thanks again and keep up the good work!"

Would highly recommend Carrick Travel. We were recently planning a trip to the USA and we found all the staff at the Coventry branch very friendly and Helen was very helpful. She was extremely patient checking all the different flight options for us to ensure we got the best price and seats available. Made to feel that nothing was too much trouble will definitely use them again for UK and foreign trips.

We have used Carrick Travel in the past and have always been pleased with the service they offer. This year I was trying to book online, but just found it hard to commit (after looking at Trip Advisor and frightening myself)

So I popped in to Carrick Travel and after speaking to Corrine she calmed my nerves. Through Classic Collection holidays she found a few options for us and we picked a holiday at a hotel that was a sanctuary in a hot and humid Split!

So I learnt my lesson and can see why we need an experienced Travel Agent to smooth the way to a wonderful holiday!

We have been using Carrick Travel for a number of years and they never disappoint. We have just returned from a fantastic trip to Malaysia (involving two destinations) and from start to finish it was very well organised and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The transfers were very smooth. Chris at Carrick even helped to locate my missing kindle whilst we were away (which I lost on the plane). Would definitely recommend them.

We have been using Carrick Travel (formerly Roma Travel) in Newark for more years than I care to remember! Dozens and dozens of holidays have been organized by the superb individuals Jill, Leanne and Nick for my wife and myself. Although there have been numerous trips to Europe the majority have been long haul to destinations including Australia, New Zealand, America (north, central and south), Asia, Middle and Far East, Canada, Hawaii, Fiji, Galapagos Islands and more. Each holiday has been tailor made to suit our requirements and suffice to say that each has been put together with meticulous detail and attention. Nothing is too much trouble and when things need tweaking they get tweaked!

Highly recommend Carrick Travel to anyone, can't imagine trusting our specific requirements to anybody else. Go on, give em a go!!

When we didn't know where to go or how much to spend, Helen pointed us in the direction of a beautiful hotel! Really looking forward to some sunshine! Lisa at the Stratford office couldn’t have been more helpful. She persevered and found a holiday that suited our fairly specific requirements. From the hotel she suggested to the transfers to and from the airport, everything went like clockwork. A very enjoyable holiday and I will certainly use Carrick Travel again.

I can't recommend Carrick Travel highly enough! I book all my holidays through them and have always found that they find me holidays to places on my "bucket" list at a good price and great quality. My last holiday on the Cunard Queen Victoria was amazing and included 2 nights in Rome. All for a great price! Looking forward to Madeira in the spring next. The team are very professional and always go the extra mile👍

Fantastic service from Carrick Travel Kenilworth . As always , Gilly knows exactly what suits us and arranges absolutely everything for us - getting us the rooms we ask for ,arranging API, reserving seats , and printing off e- tickets and boarding passes . All we have to do is arrive at the airport and enjoy our holiday.

Can't rate Carrick Travel enough. Donna has been so helpful and patient. I was booking a surprise break for myself and my wife to New York. Donna came up with so many options and then helped choose the best. Such a more personal service than usual travel agents and am now looking at my next holiday with Carrick again. I would highly recommend Carrick and Donna and I know that with this team I will get great service all the time.

Always found the Pershore branch of Carrick Travel to be really helpful and willing to solve all problems - who needs the uncertainty of online booking when you can go to Carrick! When stranded in New York Carrick were on the other end of the phone to offer assistance.

Visited your Stratford-upon-Avon branch today. Had full intentions of booking a holiday, but no-one was really interested! Took 2-3 mins before the 3 staff who were free even acknowledged us. Then we were approached by the manageress. The manageress asked us to go away and look at brochures and consider what dates we wanted. I stated I knew what our dates were, and she still asked us to go away and think about it! None of our details taken. We won’t be returning - your loss! My rating 1 star.



UPDATE



To be fair to Carrick Travel, they pursued my complaint, and asked for the opportunity to rectify the situation. This time I dealt with Emma Louise who I cannot fault. Nothing was too much trouble, and having looked at various options, I’m pleased to say that we went ahead and booked a holiday with Carrick Travel. My rating 5 stars, which averages out to 3 stars for our complete experience.

The service I had from the start was good until I was away on my holidays. I had issues in which resulted me and the wife being put in an hotel miles from our original destination. Whilst away in Thailand the Coventry branch did nothing but cause me and the wife upset and £800 plus in bills, two more hotels and taxis.

The sarcastic comments that we were short of money and the lies that followed when we confronted the branch manger Helen was disgusting and insulting.

I will never be booking again with Carrick

Popped in to ask about currency for my niece who is going to Turkey.

Got the 3rd degree

"Who did she book with?"

"No idea, just a general question do I need to buy her Euro's or other currency?"

"Have to go back to her travel agent as different hotels use different currency!"



Not very helpful as I was going to order Euro's or whatever for her holiday but definitely not from them..
