Obviously in a training environment this is not good but this is the sport side of things and we will do anything to get 1 more rep than your Bezzie mate. After completion of this Wod you have put your Cervical & Thoracic Spine through one hell of a battering, if these are not functioning properly you m...ight feel as though your traps and shoulders are screaming as they take all the force of the Strict Hspu. Most people are reaching for the Foam roller & lax ball or even the vibrating version #puremadness #youhavechosenthebluepill don’t worry I’ve been there myself. This is where an @redpillcoach will give you a full movement analysis of the thoracic spine assessing the 3 planes of motion it is designed to move through and supply you with a Prehab routine which involves some groovy dance moves that will correct your weaknesses in those planes of motion and improve your performances in those overhead movements such as Hspu & Snatch. So if this is you post 19.3 maybe you need to get in touch with your nearest RedPill coach and let us show you the ways of less pain and improved performance. In the photo we are training saggital plane motion of the thoracic whilst positioning his foot on the chair with toes in which keeps the lumbar from over working, we have the right arm over the front leg to create rotation and the left arm reached overhead to create lateral flexion. Evie can do all the strength or s...quat cycles she likes (and she has) she will never improve the number on the bar 😲 She has the ability to produce huge amounts of mechanical force, which others may name strength 💪However the score (what’s on the bar) is a lot lower than her mechanical output, which is a direct relationship to leverage 📐 Perhaps it’s time as coaches to start looking at the nuances of athletic performance rather than throwing unnessacery load at athletes 🧠 This is not only applicable to squatting this applies across all of sports wonderful techniques💡
If we compare pictures - Steve is @ 15cm horizontal and 76 cm vertical, which means he is having to produce ca.160kg of M. Force, respectively 💎
