I’d like to say a few words....this has been an emotional rollercoaster for the last 12 months, but today It all came together. The team absolutely rocked! Marco (manager) Martin (assistant manager) Rosie, Jaime, serving assistants, Jim kapasi (everyone favourite uncle) and Jane Phipps for stepping in when we were in dire straits!! All the support from the community made this work, the staff at the nisa , Georgina for holding the fort at nisa x

We had 450 customers and we have just finished cleaning things down, sorry for the queues and thanks for understanding it’s new venture. We sold out of everything btw!!!

Breaking news We will be open at 1.30pm TODAY

After 1 year and 24 days we have finally finished the project 120 Colleygate. Tomorrow the 2nd August 2018 we will finally open the Chainmakers fish and chip shop. I like to express my thanks and gratitude to all involved. We hope this project will act as a catalyst to redevelop the rest of Colleygate in the very near future. My father and I had a vision in 2007 to restore and breath life back into Colleygate , we submitted plans to the council to redevelop the whole area an...d after spending substantial amounts of money on plans and Archstect’s we didn’t receive the promised support from the council. Fast forward 11 years and we are well on the way to making doing what we set out all those years ago, without any help from councillors. In fact they have not spoken to ourselves and not been involved at all. If we want change to OUR area, support local businesses and vote for new blood in the next local election maybe then we will get a much nisa place to live in.
