What a brilliant organisation! So pleased a friend sent me pictures of their amazing furniture. Plus it is wonderful to know that the money I paid for my beautiful sofa will provide Christmas dinners for needy people. Total win win here.

This is a fantastic place. Every single person involved is selfless and cares deeply about the human life around them. If you get a free hour get down and help. There should be so many more people in this world like these wonderful human beings x

Thanks so much to Trish for all her support and expertise. I've just finished the last day of my course....and have had such a good time and learnt so much. Hope to come again soon.

I've just completed a 3 day upholstery workshop at CHALK. I can honestly say it has been an absolute delight and probably one of the most productive courses I've ever been on. Trish (the tutor) is extremely skilled, helpful, attentive and patient! I have learned so much in just 3 days and hope to make the most of my new found skills. BUT, mostly importantly I had so much fun and met some great, funny and friendly people. So, thank you very much Trish and everyone at CHALK (I hope to see you again on another course).

Amazing team, doing amazing work. Could not believe my luck when I came across these guys. Walked into the shop on the off chance one ordinary afternoon and I've only been having extraordinary ones ever since.

All people are beautiful in there own way and these people excel. They do there job without political religious or personal prejudice and some of the bad reviews on here may be a sad reflection on people who have used this fabulous experience to promote their own views. But don't be put off join in and give them some of your time or donate it's a well worth cause. This is someone's son or daughter would you want someone to help yours.

Absolutely wonderful to go into Chalk and see the guys working here. I managed to get some brilliant furniture and they helped me out massively. They couldn't have done enough, even driving it to my house and carrying it in for me. Wonderful place and people who run it.
