Went to 80s this weekend, had an absolute ball! Venue for 600+ was fantastic, hot buffet was as much as you wanted with good food, staff were very welcoming and the entertainment was first class, dancing all night to the best music ever!
We went to the 80’s night and had a great night. The room was lovely, food really tasty, the band and music were great too and we danced literally all night. Really enjoyed every bit of it and would definitely book again without any doubt

We celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary there on Sunday, as we had spent our wedding night there many years ago. The staff are all very helpful and it would seem the management have very engaged staff. The room at the top of the chateau was extremely hot but you cant blame that on anyone, weather related. The food was especially good and the waiter was excellent.
We came to the 80’s night last night and it was absolutely amazing. The band, disco, food and staff all absolutely fantastic. I also managed to stay on my feet all night after wearing my roller skates all night and dancing in them!!! Woooooo!! Brilliant night thank you
Very impressed with the new facilities, service and venue. Although only had a pot of tea whilst having a business meeting I saw enough to want to go back.
So lucky to have this on our door step, enjoyed a lovely tapas on the terrace.
My wife and I spent a fabulous 24 hours in one of the Chateau rooms, room and views were stunning, food and service excellent, we’ll be back!
Just returned from a wonderful stay. Amazing place, the Chateau Deluxe room was stunning with amazing views. Had Evening meals & Breakfast both days & afternoon tea too, all were great quality, quantity & staff that couldn't do enough for you. Such a relaxing place, peaceful, total tranquillity & couldn't have asked for better weather. Loved finding out about the Chateau's history too.
We WILL be back!!! Thanks for a perfect stay!!!
I had a lovely lunch with my bestie yesterday and so pleased they have bought back the Carvery have been coming for a long time and used to enjoy the Carvery at special times. And was sooooooo disappointed when it changed so glad it’s back hopefully to stay
Having had our wedding reception at the chateau 10 years ago it its our favourite place .but my marks are nothing to do with with that there was 6 of us that went and we loved it it well worth the the money 5 out of 5 stars
Had an amazing weekend here with the other half, great staff and the best Pina Colada I have ever tasted
Booked an afternoon tea for 9 to celebrate two 30th Birthdays and an engagement. The venue were really helpful, and we were put in a large room away from the smaller tables which was perfect for us, we could get a little more rowdy without disturbing others. Will certainly be revisiting in the future as it is a great location for us all geographically.
Tapas on the terrace, lovely way to spend summer evening great surroundings, good food, friendly staff
Second visit, first in the 70’s Marmalade, then 5/star
This week 23/12/17: visited to see the queen tribute band,
1, reception. Top draw,
2. Overnight room, =- comfortable.
3, service at the tribute band room, again superb, young man with long dark hair couldn’t do enough, went to the main restaurant to get wine for my partner and I,
We will be returning, some people may say it’s expensive, but I say you get what you pay for,
Robin Fletcher and Fiona Jones, Dy52pn.
Beautiful hotel but the annexe we stayed in was very dated, so felt we’d overpaid for 1 night. Breakfast was extra but was absolutely delicious, the staff were lovely too. Would like to stay in the main building next time.
A beautiful property. Check in was great. However, we were treated very rudely by the restaurant staff during our dinner. Only one person from the secondary staff was very kind and helpful. A big disappointment.
Wasn't very impressed went for a birthday dinner was £120 for 3 people one 1 course The restaurant was in the basement / celler was dark no natural light decor had no character and was completely not in keeping with a château the furniture was the worst table and chairs were absolute rubbish felt like they had come straight out of IKEA a tiny round table that is no where big enough for 4 people you literally get a better table and chair in MacDonald and the table spread was so dismal. And took up half the tiny table I was expecting to be seated in a grand room with fabulous views of the grounds proper plates and cutlery and decent seat and table but instead you are hustle thought the door and down into the basement waitress was extremely polite and food was a 7/10 and was alright presentation wasn't anything to get excited about by tho
