Went out of the blue for a Valentine's drink , but ended up staying for a 3 course meal, bar staff and waitress were very friendly and made us feel very welcome will definitely go again x

We visited last week for the first time when we came to Birmingham from Wales. The staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. I had the best roast dinner there that I've ever had. It was totally worth the price and you left feeling like you had a hole filled. We are still talking about the food now. We will most certainly be returning next time we are in Birmingham again and I'd recommend this place to anyone xxx

We have used the Garden House regularly for large family meals as it is fairly central to where we all live. As usual the food was very good. We had plenty of room in the right hand side of the drawing room and as it was a fairly casual get together, some if us were eating and some called in for a drink as my daughter was heading back to Oz. Our waitress was lovely, nothing was too much trouble and she was very patient with ordering of food at various times. Foolishly I didn't ask her name but as with pretty much all the staff there she was great.

We celebrated my Mom's 50th Birthday at The Garden House earlier this month. The food was delicious, served quickly (we did not have to wait long for others in the group to receive their food), and a lovely evening g was had by all. We were served by Leila, really friendly, attentive and polite - also a big hit with my 3 year old son. �

Wanted to say a big thank you to The Garden House for really excellent service and meal yesterday...shout out to Kirsty and our other waitress, didn’t get her name, sorry. So refreshing to get service from happy, confident staff, I hope they get some recognition xx

Very impressed with this incarnation of The Garden House. Still spacious, nicely turned out pub restaurant with good veggie & vegan options too, plus a gluten-free menu and some lovely home-made drinks options. Plus Gins!

We arrived at short notice with a party of 11 (including 5 kids & a baby) after a family trip to the Lego Discovery Centre and they were really accommodating and friendly. Fully recommended. Especially the vegan chocolate dessert.

Used the garden house multiple times now & always satisfied the food is exquisite with a wide variety catering to everyones tastes, the drinks are affordable & the surroundings clean comfortable & elegant the main reason why the Garden House is my favourite place to dine is Theresa she is our usual waitress & a diamond always attentive polite & witty Theresa is a credit to your company!

Third time visiting last night and this time with a table of 16, everything was cooked perfectly, with everything in stock, we had two waitresses, kirstie and another lovely girl- nothing was too much for them. Very pleasant experience- they were also happy for us to tie balloons up and have birthday cake! Love this place �

The staff were great. I went in shortly after they had finished serving food no doubt after a very busy Mother's Day. I wanted something to eat but was told they ahd finished serving and I said I suppose I will have to have a pint and a packet of crisps then. a young man on the staff said what did you want and I replied a bowl of soup would do and he said "even I can manage that" and then came back with the soup and some bread. Great service

One of my favourite places to go and eat and drink. Been four times now and the food and service are great and the food is very quick from ordering to it being on the table in front of you. Keep up the great service.

Good food, smart restaurant and pleasant grounds to enjoy on a warm day but above all it was the terrific waitresses whose friendliness and humour that made it a pleasurable dining experience.

Female 63 with a group to celebrate Burns night. Not visited for 7 years (tut tut) what a pleasant experience. Good quality contemporary decor, good amount of space. They had prepared the private dining area for us - party 24. We were not rushed ( it’s a social occasion not a feed) staff were efficient and friendly. Manager was working the bar (nice to see) excellent, good value menu which was delicious and well presented without being over the top. We all had an very enjoyable evening.

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal but my mum had a steak and it was awful and had to send it back (which she never does) but it was replaced straight away. Our waitress, Layla, was very welcoming and looking after is superbly!

Started coming here last summer 2017 it has a lovely beer garden, never had a problem with food, drinks or service. Always a nice atmosphere. My favourite place to come and have a nice afternoon in the sunshine. Not tried in the winter yet. Lol

We went for Sunday lunch yesterday. The staff were very attentative and pleasant. My reason for only 3 star is that my husband ordered topside which he says was dissspointing and didn’t have the usual flavour that you expect from topside beef. I ordered rib of beef which was very nice however the roast potatoes were very disappointing even though supposedly cooked in goose fat they were crispy but the potato itself was saturated in fat and the potato itself was tasteless. Don’t think we will have Sunday lunch here again but would visit for other food from the menu as it is usually good.

We go to the garden house once a month as the m.s group. We have wonderful caring service and the menu is fantastic even catering for the gluten free clientele. Thanks Mark for been so helpful and friendly towards us all and wonderful with my assistance dog.

Me and a couple of girlfriends have visited before and had a wonderful evening with great service and food. Unfortunately Last night was a different story. The service was still very good but the food and mistakes were not. I ordered scallops and had to send them back twice due to being cold tasteless and under cooked. I asked for sweet potato fries instead of chips with my steak and got chips! When I questioned the mistake a bowl of fries arrived. My friends lamb was all fat and our other friend had green beans that were frazzled! Upon receipt of the bill we were charged for the fries! Such a disappointment considering we only manage to get together maybe twice a year!

Third time i have been to the Garden House and I have to say last night was not good for me. My soup starter mediocre. It was only tepid. 2 large triangle slices of bread but only one pat of butter. Main course - festive menu. Didn't think it was very nice. Again luke warm and lacked flavour and presentation. Desert was fine. Christmas pudding with brandy sauce. All in all not a good experience. Price was the only favourable thing but then you tend to get what you pay for

Service and staff were great. Pity about the giant rat running around the beer garden late in the evening. Pest control and bait boxes required
