I would recommend this place to anyone, 5 star service with a big smile off all staff , the food quality itself was excellent, where much experience and time has gone into the menu and flavours, this place is a must to visit for anybody,

Well we visited Chicos tonight has a family of 5 and what can I say but WOW!!!! The most polite managers and staff from start to finish nothing was too much trouble, and getting on to the food unbelievable and unbeatable for value Nando’s you should be very worried!!!!!

We went into the restraunt on Sunday it was amazing ! We had a mega meal take out today two whole chickens four chips two rice four pita bread four drinks and a salad . Wow absolutely amazing . Easily feed five or six people . If anyone compares Nando’s to this place dream on Chico’s chicken is one hundred times tastier. The staff are really nice the owner is a great guy . Defiantly be recommended you to my customers . Well done guys .

We have been waiting for Chicos in Stafford to open and were keen to give it a go. Wow, lovely people that own/run it, nice surroundings but above all the food was fantastic, can’t be faulted. We were disappointed to learn that the Market Vaults tenants were moving on as the burgers there are superb, however, as one door closes, another opens, Chicos’ burgers are up there with the MV, high praise indeed.

We couldn’t wait to try this place out and came straight away when we knew it was open! The service was top class, we purchased unlimited drinks and the staff were onit with our refills! The lemon and herb chicken was amazing and the chips were lovely and fresh, the desserts menu was massive. We will definitely be back and I will recommend to my friends and family! (Also waaaaay cheaper than Nando’s) 5* from me �

We , as a family of four , went here today...again.

We really cannot fault anything about the place , we all ate until we were full to bursting. The mega meal deal is amazing value for money , and really does slaughter Nando’s for taste as well. The total cost , for four of us...? Under £50... including drinks.

Definitely recommended , despite the negative reviews , we have never found the staff anything but very polite and attentive.

Today , I stupidly arrived without any cash , but the staff were very understanding and helpful. They took the food order with “ no worries , eat your food , then pop down the cash point and pay when you’re ready” .

So we did , and we will return..

Very delicious food, service was great, downside was the heat and no air con but it can’t be helped when we’re having a heat wave

This place was fabulous definitely 5 star, the service and food was to die for. Very generous portion sizes and lots to choose from on the menu. Fab meal finished off with a beautiful ice cream, which was also devine. Highly reccomended. Keep up the good work guys.

Second visit, this time for our children’s birthday. Staff were great again. Always friendly and they all work hard. Can’t fault the food. We had the mega deal again and it could easily feed 5-6 and is excellent value. We can never finish it.

We shared a dessert of churros and cookie dough. Both were fab as were the mocktails.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience again. It’s good to have a non chain restaurant like this locally and I hope they continue to do well.. but no so well that we can’t get a seat.

Place had been very busy the night before and were short staffed.

However the gentleman who served us (assume to be the manager) was so genuine and couldn’t do enough to help us.

After a long wait for food, we were not disappointed! All fresh and full of flavour.

We were then even given puddings on the house to apologise.

Amazing food and great prices.

My very long, very honest, but very positive review!



We tried out Chicos last night, we were greeted and seated almost as soon as we arrived by who I assumed was the owner/manager (I didnt get names but the older fellow) He was very friendly from the start and informed us of how to order and that for now they were cash only.



We had a look though the menu and ordered our food, I had the BLK Burger and my gf the New York Burger we both ordered garlic fries and had a refillable soft drink each. Our drinks were brought to our tables after a bit of a wait, but we didnt mind as they place had gotten really busy and staff were rushed off their feet serving and turning tables. However our food took nearly 40-50 mins to arrive.



After seeing food taken out to a table that arrived after us we called over the manager to asked what was going on with our food, he went away and came back telling us there had been a mix up, and that our food ticket had not gone through to the kitchen. But that they were going to pull out all the stops to get us sorted asap. We were a little hangry, but we accepted it and continued to wait.



A couple of minutes later the manager came over with large bowl of nachos for us on the house to keep us going whilst we waited. A simple gesture that made all the difference in the world, and my god! these nachos were quite possibly the best we'd ever had! Covered in salsa, quacamole, sour cream, pica de gallo, chilli and cheese! Amazing!



Our food came a few mins after and was more than worth the wait, our burgers were very large and outstanding, I will warn you however, the BLK burger comes on a blackened bun, but it is not burnt! :)



The garlic chips were great and all was served with apologies and smiles, we felt really welcomed and really cared for. After our meals the manager came over to our table to check up on us and apologised again and had a bit of a chat with us, such a nice guy!



We ordered and shared a cookie dough desert, but to be fair were stuffed from our food.



What made this is five star review is the way the staff handled our problem. My gf and I have both worked in the food service industry, we know mistakes can be made and problems can happen, but what makes all the difference in customer service is how problems are dealt with, honesty is always the best policy and a freebie doesn't go amiss now and then, even as a gesture. Friendly, honest service will always trump fast and robotic service for me any time.



All in all a very positive experience and I wish the staff luck, the venue is small and fills up very quickly, I hope in time they will be able to expand a little to get more tables in. But the food and the service are outstanding and the prices for the quality are very reasonable. We will definitely be going back. See you soon guys :)

Just tried here for the first time since it opened and must say I was amazed. If you like nandos you will love this place. It knocks nandos out the water . Bigger portions , better quality chicken and favours a million times better. We 100% be going again

First time tonight,we had an amazing experience,food was fantastic,with generous portions,excellent service from the staff,good choice on the menu,everything we saw served out looked fab,saved room for dessert which was also delicious,will certainly be returning soon and would highly recommend the place to everyone,it’s great value compared to Nando’s,go hungry and enjoy.

Been looking forward to trying out Chicos and we weren't disappointed. Ordered over the phone and collected today and the food was beautiful. Chicken fell off the bone, so tasty. And the chips ÔøΩ We'll definitely be eating here again, next time it will be a meal in to try The Don burger ÔøΩ Keep up the great work!

Absolutely amazing chicken and wings. Found the value for money better than larger chain chicken restaurants. The gelato sorbet was also fantastic. Cant wait to take the family back to try the rest of the menu. Well done

Went out as a party of ten for my brother in laws birthsay,

We got the their a little early as we put some balloons on the table and a cake, we got told we had to wait for other people to leave so we could have the second half of our table, this wasn’t much of an issue.

When everyone arrived, we got our drink (self serve)

We then ordered our starters and mains at the same time, we where charged extra for some meals that we soon found out about. We then got told they had no beef, so several people had to change their meals. Kids meal came on a piping hot plate. Only 2 vegetarian options.

Service was horrific but food was average.

Would recommend take away but 0 chance of dining in.

Unfriendly!!!!

Only received part of our order and they still got that wrong. No apologies....arrogant chef!

Could excuse them if it was busy but there was only 10 customers in.

Small meals considering that it was fairly pricey!

Not licensed and you cannot take your own alcohol in.

We won’t be returning!
