Hello lovely followers! 😍 My name is Amy and I run Clarence and Alabama. I started selling dresses 4 and a half years ago with absolutely no idea what I was doing! I was completely terrified of what I was doing it was so far out of my comfort zone it was un-real!
It's been a brilliant journey and I have met so many wonderful people and communities. I really felt part of something and felt so passionate for my business.
... A lot has changed in the last few years for me and I now have 3 kids!!! My twins arrived 3 months ago and I've made the decision to press pause on Clarence and Alabama :(
It is incredibly hard to keep the momentum going with generating traffic to the website and getting the right stock at the right time and keeping up with competition.
I will be putting my thinking cap on and will hopefully start up in some way or another when the time comes
I just wanted to say a big thank you to my lovely friend Lisa from Mathilde heart Manech who was on hand for advice and supported me with the launch back in the day! I could not have done it without you.
I also wanted to say a big thank you to the Hanwell massive! Without the support from my old local community I would have never got my business off the ground!
I better thank my awesome husband Danny who has helped behind the scenes in more ways than you can imagine!!!!! He has been an incredible support and also very good at selling at vintage fairs ;)

Quality, good value and excellent customer service. I bought a beautiful teal lace dress. The material feels great and the dress fits beautifully (it is cut generously exactly as they said it would be on the website). It came much more quickly than I anticipated and was so prettily packaged that it felt like my birthday. I am so happy with the whole experience. Thank you

Placed my 1st order on fri surprised at how quick it came, it came onvtues and we had a bank holiday , the banned proud peacock dress , its fab fits great my 1st banned dress I have a few banned handbags and shoes might have to try the dresses now will be ordering again from you x

I ordered this dress for my holiday to Dubai as I needed something to cover my shoulders and knees. I loved the colour and pattern. The dress came within a few days and I love it! I took it on holiday and wore it with my gold sandals and new jewellery. the material is light and doesn't crease and the fit is great, although I had to pin the front as it was a bit low for the event I was going to in Dubai. I have had many positive comments about the dress and I always pass on Clarence and Alabama's name to anyone who asks! Thank you x
