When my local gym of 9 years shut down I was lost. I tried almost every gym in a 5 mile radius of my house - from Crossfit to Nuffield but this place win me over. Great new facilities, excellent choice of classes but mostly the staff and other members are simply lovely.

Life guards are very friendly and great with the kids, cafe staff were friendly and happy to please you. Had a lovely afternoon here.

I have nothing but praise for all the team. We have been having swimming lessons for 8 years. My 3 year old got his 5 metre badge last week. Yes changing room locks are broken, but that is not the staffs fault it is the people who don't respect property's fault

I have visited twice in the past couple of weeks with my children the pool area is clean I admit but from visiting the toilets I can see very easily how disease is being spread and also in the changing area, surely something should be put its place as looking at past comments this is not a new issue. Swimming we paid for one adult and 2 children was over £11 wich although doesn't sound bad i believe is a tad over priced for just one hour hour, swimming used to be affordable for every family as a cheap activity but at this price for only one hour is now more of a luxury. If this is now the average cost surely some can be put towards cleaning products

Previously I have been really impressed with swimmimg lessons provided by cocks moors for my children but recently the lessons (stage 4 especially) have become very overcrowded with as many as 10 children in a lane that's less than 2 metres wide. They are bumping into each other constantly and there seems to be little chance of progression with conditions like this. I have requested for my daughter to be moved into another class on a different day that may be quieter to be informed that the classes are all the same size. Thinking of moving to another pool : (

Poor customer service, receptionists might know the drill but we don't, no need to be bored and monosylibic when responding to questions! Also, have to wait for ages for them to open the barrier to get in. Ive just paid you, you know you need to release the lock!!!! Its like they enjoy winding people up. Shame as its on my doorstep and ive taken my children there regularly over 20years. Will go further afield in future in hope of overall better experience!

Considering the issues that happened with the pool being closed last year, it appears that lessons haven't been learned here. I visited today with my family (I have been a few times since you reopened) and was quite frankly shocked at how filthy the place was. The ladies toilets (poolside) were unsanitary, the baby changing table had poo on it, the floors were filthy, doors missing on changing room cubicles, chewing gum all over the floor, poolside (specifically on the steps leading to the slide). I didn't see a cleaner at any point during our time there, surely it makes sense to put one on during busy periods which, seeing as we had to wait for an hour to get in, Saturdays are? Very disappointed and will travel further afield for now. No decent public swimming pools in south Birmingham ÔŅĹ

Went there today with my husband and 2 children. I hadn't been since I was child, I was very disappointed nothing was working no slide or waves. It would have been nice to have been told about it before paying to go in because if I had I would have walked out. Additionally the pool was dirty and whole experience was poor. We will not be returning!!

Water was very cold and the ambient air temp around the pool was cold too. Too cold for our 17 month old son. We had to leave. When I raised my concerns, they tried to say all temperatures were correct. Seems strange as I asked a number of other swimmers, and they all said they were cold too. I was also informed the heateing was not working the week before by another swimmer!

Utterly disappointed, after taking the time to check the website for activities we arrive and nothing is on!!! With no explanation....the conditions are poor and generally dirty bits in the water

Took my 3 daughters swimming yesterday, only to find that after an hour of us actually being in the pool we were kicked out to make room for more customers (coloured band system). In all of the times I have been to cocks moors swimming pool there has never been this band system, although the manager told me it's been around for over a year - no it hasn't ! No signs to state this is what happens otherwise I would have spent my money elsewhere ! The manager said you only get an hour and 20 minutes in the pool ........ what a complete rip off ! Told the manager I will not be going back there.

To save others school holiday disappointment.... the flume/waves aren’t working at the moment. Staff didn’t seem to know what was going on and considering the pool has supposedly been recently refurbed/cleaned there are still lots of unsightly brown marks all over the tiles! We tried to call several times the previous night but nobody ever picked up the phone. Just feels really poor service here at the moment and underresourced.

My local leisure centre so super convenient to go for a late swim after work, however the receptionists here are SO rude(two blond ladies) you’d think they didn’t want my money or custom. Being the first faces you see as you walk through the doors and setting initial impressions you’d think they’d have at least a tiny bit of good customer service to offer. But time and time again they are nothing but rude. If it wasn’t for the convenience and lifeguard staff(which are incredibly friendly especially lady with short hair) I’d never return.

Me and my sisters and our kids all went to swim this morning. If we would have read the recent reviews I still don't think we could have prepared ourselves for the disgusting state of the place. The urine smell hits you in the face the minute you walk into the changing rooms... But how can you stop 7 excited kids once your inside! there was rubbish everywhere including nappies ...the floor was slimy as you walked across it. God knows what form on super bugs are breeding in this place. Do not go its the most dirtiest place Iv been too since it was close down before. Why put all of that money into refurbishment and not keep it clean? Not one cleaner seen as a previous reviewer has said. I have a feeling you don't even care about the swimming facilities and your concentrating on the other leisure activities that make you more money. For me and my family we will go where our children's health is more important.

Lockers are filthy, changing room always seems to smell like the toilets are blocked, like sewers, and the water is always freezing. Also what’s with the plastic cutlery? Loads of companies are reducing their plastic why not use metal and wash them? It’s so wasteful

First time there! Never again! Queued up for nearly half an hour, que was out of both doors and outside and there was one member of staff on the reception! Changing area was filthy, toilets stunk of urine, pool was cold and the showers were freezing to a point that I couldn’t even shower my daughter after.

First of all you are welcomed by a couple of the most unhappiest reception staff ever. They are snappy and really unhelpful. You then make your way to the dirtiest, smelliest changing rooms. The smell of fish is awful and i have never seen a cleaner although i am assured by the unhappy reception staff there is one. The pool area is ok and the pool looks fab but that is where it ends. The water is the coldest I have ever been in and when i questioned it I was told they flush cold water into it to clean the pool. In all I wouldn't bother paying this place a visit unless you want to be snapped at, freeze your butt off and come away stinking of urine ūüėä

Constantly dissapointed by poor customer service and quality of the centre. Staff is unable to provide any information, or when they do, each person gives out different information. I stopped my son's swimming classes becouse of poor quality, i go to yoga there now becouse of the teacher i like,but everything else is just awafull. Its overpriced, rude staff, all lockers broken. i was late couple of minutes once and staff wouldnt let me in withouth checking it first with the teacher , who might just be fine with that. Really dont reccomend this place.
