Coton Park Residents' Association

A resident has just moved to Coton Park with her family, is 23 and is wondering what there is locally to do. She is already a member at Nuffield and works outside Rugby but wants to make new friends here.

A resident on Coton Park Drive has received a parcel for S.Jones but it must be the wrong house number. If this is you, or you know who it is, please let us know.

Plea from resident: DPD have delivered my parcel to a neighbour but not told me the address just a name: Jeena. The item is a children's xmas present so urgent I find it!

Notification from WCC: Leicester Road in Rugby will be closed overnight for five nights for resurfacing work. The road will be closed from the M6 to Central Drive from 8pm to 6am, starting on Monday evening (26th). A diversion will be in place.
They will also be using this opportunity to sort out the street lights on the A426 roundabout near Aldi rather than do separate road closures for those.

The traffic lights at the roadworks were fixed last night so can you please obey the lights this morning!!

We are trying to sort the traffic lights issue, WCC, Police and Severn Trent are aware and we are all trying to get it sorted asap. We think it is a contractor for Severn Trent Responsible for this and we are on the case.

There has been another incident of a car being scratched this evening, on Crackthorne Drive - see photo below. It has been reported to the police but if you recognise the individual, can you please call the police quoting incident number 443. This individual then went towards Snellsdale and Longstork. We have also had reports of a further two cars having been scratched on Crackthorne Drive.

We hope you all had an enjoyable Halloween and another excellent display by residents on Coton Park. Unfortunately the night did not go without some youngsters spoiling the night of fun. We have received video footage of a group of teenagers boys & girls clearly destroying pumpkins and decorations of a house on the estate 😞 after ringing the doorbell. The parents have asked for us to share the video but we have forward it to the police and Safer neighbourhood team. The yo...ungsters are easily recognised and can expect a visit from the police / safer neighbourhood team. If you have any further information please PM us.

A light coloured schitzu is missing in the park. Near small park area and stone circles. She lives at 20 flagstone. She is 4 years old. Please look out for her. Thank you.
