Good Morning All, After lengthy discussions by the Trustees and Staff and with a heavy heart we have made the decision to close Coundon Care at Allesley Park for the forseeable future .Following Goverment guidance to isolate our Elderly clients we are unable to continue to run the service.We thank you for your support and look forward to reopening once this madness has passed.If you or your loved one needs support during this time the Community Centre Office will remain open for as long as is feasible.Please call 024 76715150 or message us on Facebook.Thank you and stay safe x

Dear friends and Family of Coundon Care, The Charity is taking all reasonable precautions to ensure that illness and infection do not spread in the workplace between employees or from employees to clients or the public. We are thoroughly cleaning the bus and day centre each day before clients arrive. Staffs are wearing gloves on collection and everyone is greeted at the door and hand washing is taking place on arrival at the day centre. It is our intention to remain open for... as long as possible and we are following government procedures and advice as information is released. In the event of closure staff will call families to notify them. We will look to support our clients welfare were possible and will do our best to keep in touch through the closure. All Day Care fees will continue to be charged until further notice. For a small charity such as ourselves, we have to look at the financial impact this Pandemic will have on the long term future of the day centre and its care team. We ask for your understanding and continued support in these uncertain times.

Happy Pancake 🥞 day everyone! Officially Shrove Tuesday! Cook 👩‍🍳 swapped out morning toast for pancakes this week and some of us even eat 3 🐷.

When the room is humming with conversation... sometimes we underestimate the need for conversation in our busy life’s. There are times in our life that the house can be empty- when children fly the nest or they’ve all started school. Well for some of our clients they find them self alone with only a tv 📺 for company most days. Well not here at the day centre they can enjoy 😊 friends, food, entertainment and the all important conversation!
