We are a working farm based in rural Herefordshire.
We have 3 very well stocked fishing lakes each with their own log cabins (The Cabin, The Boathouse & The Outpost). Each lake is totally hidden away guaranteeing total seclusion and privacy.

Despite the very very dry conditions for the last 6 weeks we have managed to keep the water levels up to a great level at the moment.
Many many congratulations to John and Samantha who got engaged today down at The Boathouse. Best wishes and hoping you both have a fantastic life together from all at Countryside Cabins.

just spent a lovely week with the wife at the outpost what a lovely place perfect !
Fishing is hard but worthwhile had 4 god takes but only managed to land 2 they are very very hard fighting fish brilliant !
The ones i got out were 2 pristine commons one 19lb 16oz and one 20lb 8oz .
Hooked a bigger one but it snapped me off great fun we cannot wait to go back .
What an amazing place !! So quite and peaceful, the fishing was great, 9 fish to 19lb 4oz over the 2 nights, with some amazing fish that fight like stink to be had for your efforts. I would still go back even if I hadn't caught!! So we.will def.be returning. Simon was there ro meet and greet, show us round, then left us to relax for the weekwnd many thanks Simon we will be back
Went last March/April, stayed at the boathouse, had lots of fishes. Was brilliant it's 2nd time I went there now going there again in Oct with my partner. Looking forward to stay at the outpost and then the boathouse. My dog loved there, he ran, ran and ran around like wild and free, best place! Very quiet and relax. Hope to get the big fish!
We've just got back from a 3 night stay in 'The Cabin'. It's absolutely stunning and absolutely worth every penny. Our children and dogs have had the best time and didn't want to come home! Sadly the fish didn't want to play and despite having 4 rods in the lake 24 7 we didn't catch a thing! Nevermind.... will just have to return to try again �
We've just got back from 3 nights in the outpost, we had the most relaxing time, it was just what we needed, highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from it all as it is so tranquil, and the views are beautiful.Twig was so happy running around freely and Martin was in his element fishing. Thanks Simon
We stayed at The Cabin for 2 nights with our one year old son and friends, and it was amazing. Unfortunately no fish was caught at all, but the weather was lovely and my son enjoyed his first getaway =) Will return for sure, Cabin is lovely, there is nothing more you could expect from a countryside cabin, any problems we had Tommy solved asap. Gas barbeque is amazing,cleanliness is good according to countryside wooden cabins. Swans are a bit angry and chasing on the lake after your boat, but they do look nice on the pictures :) Thanks for having us =)
The Cabin - Wow what a place. If you just need time out in a beautiful location to 'get away' from the outside world or take your other half/friends away to relax and fish then this is the place. The dogs loved it, we loved it. We'll be back for sure. Simon the owner is a lovely guy very welcolming Thanks.
Spent last weekend at the boathouse at countryside cabins and thoroughly loved it. Extremely peaceful and great to have whole lake to yourself. Log burner kept us warm!
Would highly recommend to others.
My husband & I have just came home after a fantastic week at the boathouse
It was just like a little bit of heaven. Hubby caught 20+ fish ranging from 12lb to 1lb hubby was in his element.
Complete privacy and the wildlife was stunning.
Kingfisher, woodpecker,squirrels,rabbits,pheasant all within touching distance.
We will be back soon.
Just stayed for 3 night's in the boat house.amazing place so quiet and private. My two pugs loved the freedom. The boat house was so clean.will defenatly be back to your piece of heaven. Thankyou
Just returned from a 2 night break at the Outpost, absolute heaven, lovely lake full of carp so private and secluded not another human in site, we have 2 large dogs they where free to roam wherever they wished, they loved it!!! We will certainly be returning.

Just got back from 3 days in The Boat House Cabin. Words escape us on how much we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it's so beautiful, the surroundings are perfect to get away from it all. In 3 days we caught 43 fish, 🐟🐠

Just come back from a amazing stay at the outpost, pb common of 22.5 within 2 hours from the surface another small common of 10.3 during the night, fish all over the surface just not interested in the slightest, sometimes the heat is just a killer and turns them off. Facilities were spot on and the new shower is awesome. The owner Simon is a top bloke, can't wait to return for a week in August. Ps don't try walking to the pub it's 3 miles away as we found out :-/

Had a 3 night stay at the Cabin, with our 3 children and dog, was a really great few days. A nice change to spend time with the children without WiFi to spend quality family time! The boys caught 2 fish over the 2 nights- they like night time! So they were delighted! Would definitely recommend...
Great weekend with my partner & Molly our collie. The fishing was good, 8 lovely carp caught, the biggest was 18lb mirror. We found the lodge comfortable & well equipped. You are left alone. We cooked on the barbecue the whole time. We took our dogs for some scenic walks without leaving the estate. Very friendly people also, Simon is very helpful. If you fancy a drive out (girls shopping) Ledbury is about 10 miles & so is Hereford. Also a craft shopping centre at Bishops Frome just up the road. We will return for sure.
Excellent place for anglers and people who just want to be away from it all. We didn't catch any fish this time but we have seen loads they were just spawning. Would recommend it to anyone. Thanks Simon.
Been their twice now . Outpost , and the boathouse. Fantastic place to go . Some great fish. And Simon can't do enough for you . Will definitely be going back . Would recommend to everyone.
