Wishing all our lovely customers a Happy Easter. Just to let you know our office will be closed on Good Friday and Bank Holiday monday.

Still busy trying to get the rear units ready for occupation. Main electrics now done, as is most plumbing and internal units. This week we will be starting on the windows and cladding. Hoping for an easter finish.

Work is progressing really well on the new rear units. Please be aware that we will be re-tarmacing the area on the corner of Maypole Fields on Monday 18th pm, so please do not park outside of Adorabella or the rear gates/bus area. Thanks for your co-operation.

We have a 1750 sq.ft unit becoming available in March if anyone is interested. Large rollershutter access and separate personnel door. internal office. Nice square unit. Easy access to the unit for containers, etc. Current occupants are moving to a larger unit (still at Cradley). Call the office for further details.

The Cradley Enterprise Centre Reception Office will be closed from lunchtime on Friday 21st December until Wednesday 2nd January 2018. There will be a post collection on Friday 21st, but then no collection until we return to the office on 2nd. Merry Christmas and Happy New year to you all.

This morning had 2 interesting meetings. First one with Chamber of Commerce - small business account manager - Alison Trinder. She is planning a number of seminars and training sessions for new start-ups. I have her business card if anyone is interested.
Also a meeting with EnTRESS who are from Wton Uni and specialise in environmental technologies and resource efficiencies. For us, they are looking at heating for workshops that will be most environmentally friendly and also cost effective. However they also help with waste disposal (ie cardboard, plastic, etc). Their service is free, if anyone is interested.
I'll put notices on the boards and cards in reception for the above.

Does anyone have a small working fridge they want to get rid of please? Dave Tedstone and the guys would like to replace the one in Unit A kitchen that has stopped working. If you have one, either let the office know or drop round to see Dave or Yarrick in Unit A8. Thanks

SALTBROOK SCRAPYARD PLANNING APPLICATION. Cradley customers/neighbours might be interested to know that I met with Jack Sutcliffe today (the guy who has bought the Saltbrook scrapyard and put in the planning application for 'a transit site'.
Jack was very approachable and forthcoming about his plans. He seems to be a decent enough guy. I think it may be worthwhile setting up a tenant's meeting so interested people can listen to his plans for the site and question him directly. Please let us know if you would be interested in attending. Depending on numbers we will hold it here at Cradley.

We have a workshop becoming available at the end of October. Measuring 50ft 3in x 30ft 8 in, ie. 1533 sq.ft. Large roller shutter door. Its on our Cradley 2 site. Give the office a call if you think you may be interested on 01384 411819.

We have a 100sq.ft storage unit just become available if anyone is interested (10ft wide x 10ft deep x 10ft tall). Normal price is £135 incl VAT per calendar month. Existing customers get a 10% discount. Give the office a call if you want to have a look at it.

We have logged our objection to the Travellers Site at Saltbrooks Road today. Also been in touch with various MPs, Councillors and others that may help. Any objection counts, particularly if it relates to subjects other than crime (!). Perhaps parking, mad traffic - particularly at that junction with Maypole Fields/Saltbrook Road, which is already a nightmare, and, with additional large trucks, etc, will be potentially fatal. Flooding issues, protected species, ie, newts that may live in the river/brook, badgers, bats (if there are any), etc. Please post your objections on the councils Planning application website. Hi all. HELP.......I'm desperately wanting people's help please. I would not normally ask but this is something that cannot happen and I need all the help I can get to stop it . I have been informed today that there is a planning application for a transit travellers site proposed literally next door to Cradley Enterprise Centre, (on the Old Saltbrook Scrapyard). As you may be aware we have a big problem with the trouble and problems created by the travellers and allowing an encampment literally on our doorstep will cause trouble for us, our customers and obviously all our neighbours. Please please can you log onto the DudleyCouncil website and object to P18/0957. Your co-operation is much appreciated. Thanks Denise.

Delighted to inform everyone that we have now let unit 3A at Cradley 2. New tenants moving in early September, so I'll give more information later.
New units at the rear of Maypole Fields are progressing nicely and we already have potential customers waiting for 5 of the planned 6 units! Let the office know if you might be interested yourself. There is a 790sq.ft unit not yet reserved. There will also be a number of small storage units (approx 50sq.ft). Further information is available from Denise in the office.
