What a lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff. We have had the most amazing weekend celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and on arrival to our room found a lovely card and a bottle of bubbly (Thank you) will definitely be back again 😊😊

My Mother andI have just spent a relaxing 3 days staying at this lovely hotel in the heart of Stratford and right on the river. It certainly is in a great location, the staff are all very welcoming and accommodating & food delicious. A great find, hope to visit again soon ����

Lovely hotel set right by the river, where we could sit outside for drinks and lunch. Spotlessly clean rooms. The food was fine and a good choice on the menu. We had a great deal staying on Sunday night, with evening meal and then a superb breakfast on the Monday morning. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Just perfect for a short stay to see such a beautiful and interesting part of our country.

We will certainly visit again. Thank you.

Just loved my stay there,from layout of floor space in the hotel,to room size,Spa facilities & buffet breakfast..........superberb! Only waiting to hear on my 'left behind swimming costume' in my room!

It was lovely, I stay in a lot of hotels due to the nature of my job.but here was special it was my birthday and comp, drinks the only one thing...... you can't open your windows there screwed in due to health and safety, hmmmm if you really want to jump im sure there are higher places.

Had a lovely stay here Friday 16th feb for my birthday. Nicholas who welcomed us at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Service with a smile. Hotel was clean and a very friendly atmosphere. Very comfortable and accomadating. The pool area was well kept and facilities were great. Will definately visit again was in a great location and of easy walking distance to the town.

Great location and rooms are good staff in the bar and reception were great .. didn’t eat in the hotel as so many fantastic restaurants and bars to eat and drink in .,we had breakfast in the Orange Mabel Tea rooms also Thespians Indian restaurant,El Greco, and the Old Thatch Tavern highly recommend also not forgetting Carluccio’s fab staff and coffee

Fantastic stay the only things wrong my partner had a rubbery steak Friday night mine was perfect but the staff could not be more apologetic offerd to change it and bought us a drink and all the staff could not do enough for you from the time you checked out very nice but sometimes it can be a bit over the top. But I must say very clean hotel , comfy beds will stay here again without a doubt.

Been to crowne plaza bar few times before to have coffee and drinks...always had a great time. The latest was an unplanned meal at their restaurant but glad we decided to eat in there. The Food(salmon & slow cooked beef) was fantastic! The prompt and friendly service plus outside seating is great...top it up with a 4star hotel location is a bonus. Well recommended to anyone, young or not so young.

As a platinum member of the IHG group I’m very happy to find such a lovely setting and peaceful location near to home. We have visited many hotels within the groups chains of hotel brands and this was definitely one of the best so far!

Absolutely wonderful stay at the Crowne Plaza, such a beautiful hotel.

The room was incredibly clean and so comfortable. The food was amazing! We had dinner and breakfast, both great. Could not fault one thing about our visit here. The staff are all lovely and always so friendly. Would like to send a big thank you to everyone who made our stay perfect.

We checked in and given our room only to find on entry the room was already occupied.went back to reception and was given another,room was great but noticed the empty bottles of wine from fridge still on table and could not understand why the window was screwed shut.? Overall had a pleasant stay.

Our second visit. A lovely hotel great location slightly let down by late check in times and bedroom windows that are screwed shut

Cooked breakfast is very good but the order option of both kippers and haddock were dry over cooked and tasteless

Our room was beautiful and the staff were very attentive. Our room was freezing though and the heating only worked intermittently! Unfortunately after being moved once already because the window in the first room was broken and would not shut, we just wrapped up, went out and drank plenty! We needed a break so didn't let it spoil the holiday but for £100 a night I expected to be comfortable.

Location, parking, room and food were all very good. Lovely terrace by the AVON too. Check in 25 minute queue at the peak time 3pm and the Leisure facilities were disappointing a small pool very cold and the hot tub was the style you'd have in your garden and only room for 4 people....

PLeasant room and comfortable bed. Snack meal at lunchtime ok but overpriced for a sandwich. Breakfast fair with good choice. As most hotels it’s expensive for what it is and the coffee machine produces awful pseudo coffee! Overall the stay was enjoyable as the staff are polite and helpful. The prices are just typical IHG pricing!

Shorty staffed, poor facilities. Dirty glasses and plates left lying around all over the place. Not worth the money. Asked for a quiet room. First bedroom was adjacent to the sports hall roof, and all the air con units buzzing away, second room was by the main road and the window didn’t shut properly. Third room lucky but we had to downgrade from our executive room, basic, no frills, with a grotty bathroom. Was given pass to ‘club lounge’ to make up for it, was supposed to have free snacks and drinks but it was pitifully stocked on a Friday, no staff in there and had to hunt down milk for a cup of tea and figure out how to use the machine ourselves. Then comes Saturday night and it would seem we were right over party central. So much for a quiet room. Could actually feel the music thumping through the floor. Gone midnight we call reception, party is going on until 1am. Checked out and asked for our money back, was agreed after I lost my temper. Would not go there again, ever. Thankfully we had a lovely time out and about in Stratford but the hotel really let us down.

Beautiful setting. Pretty decor. Comfy beds. No A/C in the bedrooms. Stiflingly hot. Staff provided a fan but that gave little relief. Unable to open windows. Bulbs in the can lights in the bathroom gave off so much heat the bathroom felt like a sauna
