We were met at the port of civitevecchia by our tour guide Daniela.m for our Rome tour. She directed us quickly to our coach and we were off. The drive to Rome is not too long. But cleverly there was a pit stop after 15 mins. Enough time for bathroom break & grab a coffee. (Toilet facilities in the city aren't that great/easy to find apparently).

The information given on the way in and throughout the day was amazing. I learnt so much in a short time. There really was so much knowledge and passion from our tour guide.

As we were doing the full day tour, Daniela explained timings and plans for the day. We arrived a very short walk from the colesseum. We didn't go inside, but took lots of fabulous photos. Back to the coach after 30-40 mins and we were off again. So many buildings were pointed out to us on the way along with history etc.

Next Spanish steps. Then walk thru the street to the Trevi fountain. Free time here - enough to grab a gorgeous gelato and enjoy the views. We walked thru the streets to piazza navona. What a stunning area. Here we had more than enough time to have lunch. Daniela recommended local restaurants to us, which was really handy. We followed her recommendation and ate spectacular pasta. This area of the city is so pretty and great for watching the world go by.

Back to our super luxury coach and we were off to the St. Peter's square. Amazingly I'm still in awe that I was stood in such a phenomenal place.

this tour was the best I've done. And I have done a couple before in Rome. The information given was literally so exact. Any questions anyone had, were answered perfectly. On the way back Daniela let us all have forty winks before gently waking us just prior to arriving at the port.

It's a full day tour and involves lots of walking. Lots!! Cobbled streets & uneven pavements. This is not a negative....merely for everyone to be aware to wear extremely comfy shoes & be prepared to walk.

If you go to Rome, do this guided tour. Don't do your own thing thinking you will get to see all the main sights, I guarantee you won't do. And you may up lost!!

I am off to Naples and Barcelona on a cruise soon and will definitely be hooking up with cruising excursions now for my trips there.

We have just returned from a cruise on The Freedom of the Seas departing from Barcelona. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. The three excursions we booked with them (our first time using them) were brilliantly organised and guides very friendly and knowledgable. They worked out half the price of the cruise line as we were a party of 4. The real highlight was an excursion to the Amalfi Coast for the view, Sorrento and Pompeii. Sabrina, our guide was truly excellent from start to end and ensured we got the most out of the day ending in Pompeii, though a short visit, she was so passionate and knowledgable about the place that we felt we came away knowing so much in such a short space of time. Thank you, we thoroughly enjoyed the excursions and will

definitely recommend and use again.

We have just come back from our cruise on the Norweigan Epic and the tours to Pompeii, Rome and Florence/Pisa were outstanding. The guides were friendly and efficient and they had extensive knowledge about the places we visited. The guides were conscious of returning us to our boat on time and they made us feel very comfortable. The prices of the tours were also very reasonable and a lot cheaper than the ship excursions. I would definitely be using this company in the future when I go on future cruises. Thank you for making my trip truly memorable.

We booked two excursions whilst on a cruise to Israel. The guides were excellent and worked hard for our tour party. There was a 'blockade' of the port when we arrived and the trip was delayed departing by at least 3 hours, however, the guides and coach drivers ensured that we still saw all the planned sites and that we were not rushed. Fortunately the ship was staying in port so it was not an issue being late back.

We booked 3 excursions and we were a bit worried as we didn’t know much about this company. We were pleasantly surprised to see them with their sign out on every port. Every guide made us feel at easy was open to questions and the bus drivers were amazing to say the least. I would defiantly recommend them and will be using them in the future!

We are just back from a med cruise with the NCL Epic and we had three shore excursions with this tour company. The price of the excursions were really good compared to what the cruise line were charging on the ship. Our tour guides were first class and their knowledge of the areas we were visiting knew no bounds. 1st class would definitely recommend this company.

My husband and I had an excellent walking tour of old Havana, Cuba in May 2018. Everything was better than expected and our guide Fernando was professional, extremely informative, and a truly delightful person. He exceeded expectations and we recommend him highly. We will definately try Cruising Excursions again.

I booked the Complete Rome Tour with Cruising Excursions. What a great experience! Meeting at the port was smooth - very punctual and surprisingly easy to find. Our lovely guide Daniella made sure we were all safe and on the bus. After a quick stop at the service station - best to use the facilities here so you are ready for a full day in Rome - we headed off for the first stop. We started at the colluseum, then spent the day either walking or being transported on a lux coach to all the best sites - the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain - ending up at the Vatican before heading back to the port. Daniella was amazing - her knowledge was never ending. Top tips from me - you need a relative amount of fitness - no walking difficulties - for this fab trip as the streets are uneven and the crowds could be large. I did chat to the CE guys and they have a great private tour option - especially good if you have a few people in your party. I am hoping to go back next year with a party of 12 so I will definitely look in to this. All in all a wonderful tour - cannot recommend enough! More than 5*

Had a tour in Rome this week! We had Micky taking us round. Lovely man, very very knowledgeable about everywhere we visited. He even took us to a nice restaurant for pizza. Defiantly use this company again!!

Fantastic experience. Although only a coach trip we were picked up on time and the return was also on time. Great value for money and so much cheaper than the cruise ship. Wherever we go next you will be the first contact for any excursions.

Excellent, all 4 tours turned up on time, the tour guides had a very good command of English and were very informative, humorous and knowledgeable about their cities.

Would recommend and will definitely use again on our future cruising rather than the official cruise line tours which seem to offer the same tour packages at a more expensive price.

Terrible experience we had booked to see The Amalfi coast and Pompeii and did not find out until the day of the excursion that we were not doing the Amalfi coast and we had the tour guide from hell. I tried to tell her the correct pronunciation of a word and she snapped at me I know how to speak English.She was very nasty with an older lady in our group, arguing for about 15 minutes on the bus on the loudspeaker with her we all tried to get her to not be so mean and just tell us where we were. She yelled at my husband to ask permission to take a picture of her when he took a picture above her at Pompeii. There was a man not in our group stop as she was talking she yells at him to leave and not listen to what she was saying. Once in Pompeii I was standing beside her she was almost whispering in the mike so only the people who purchase the little speaker could hear, when I asked her to speak up a little she complained.



In Nice I purchased the small group trip as we were waiting other vans came and the guides were cleaning the windshield but a young man with a small midsize car came with a large crack across the windshield and my husband and two others were squeezed in the backseat. He was nice but not a guide he did not tell us much about anything he was like a taxi just dropping us off and picking us up.

Had a terrible trip in St Petersburg and still in dispute in regard to their derisory offer of 25% discount. Not good enough ,especially as this was to be the highlight of our cruise. Until I get a fair refund I would not recommend this company

Booked 7 tours in advance with Cruising Excursions as recommended by Thomas Cook - the first 3 were a total sham! Will be getting in touch, now we are back home, to sort out refunds! Only reason ive given 2 stars is because the other 4 were good otherwise you'd have the minimum 1 star!
