Dispite shocking customer service and having to do all the running around to get my washing machine replaced, today the delivery guys at Currys have gone a long way to renew my faith . They phoned me 20 mins before delivering, were polite, wiped their feet, were careful of my property, took the rubbish and were cheerful. Just their job you may say, but not the same level service I have received when the 1st machine was delivered or from the rest of the company . Keep up the hard work.

We splashed out and bought a more expensive fridge freezer than we normally would have due to the amazing deal. We checked reviews etc and it looked amazing. When we got it, we loved it.

3 months later it stopped working- no longer cold in the fridge. It was very difficult to get someone out to repair under guarantee... they did but were grumpy and rude to my very pregnant friend who was waiting it for him as we were at work. He said it may only be a temporary fix... then the fridge broke again a couple of days later.



My husband’s insulin, that he needs to stay alive, is in that fridge and now they say that it is unfixable but they cannot replace it until Tuesday- 5 days without being able to keep his insulin cold. What a farce.



A ridiculous company with awful customer service and do not think of people’s lives.

Today I bought a TV bracket from your blackpole store. I specifically asked if the bracket was suitable for my TV (which I pointed out to you from your display) and double checked with the sales assistant that the bracket would not be seen from the front of the TV. You confirmed definitely not and the bracket was suitable. Guess what?! I started to put bracket on TV and it protrudes the top of the TV by about 1.5 inches. I waited 15 minutes to get through to a central call centre who could not help me and confirmed in fact you do not have a direct phone for me to call you on. I now have to make another trip across town to return the bracket.



In addition, I was in your store 2 weeks ago to purchase a TV. After 10 minutes waiting for someone to serve me I left the store and purchased the TV elsewhere. Why is your customer service so poor?

Terrible customer service. Rude and poorly trained employees, if I could rate this lower I would. I won’t ever use this store or brand in the future

More than I can say for the engineering staff at the know-how Head office who are clueless and like to mislead customers.



Thanks guys for sorting out the problems with my purchase after being mislead by Head office. Much appreciated.



However amending my rating in February 2018. Sue has gone. Luke is the ONLY person who acts like a human being and actually helps.



Customer service at head office are a bunch of moronic idiots who fail to respond or return phone calls. Managers are too scared to answer complaints.



After the above purchase in November 2016 I had to pay extra for a non plumbed machine which did not arrive until middle of January 2017. Fast forward to 16th Feb 2018 this LG appliance was written off - Beyond Economic Repair without even having an engineer visit my home to look at it, Reason stated the motherboard had blown.



Received a code which allowed Currys to replace the machine. Asked them if I could pay extra and replace the LG with a Samsung. I was told that I would only be given the price I purchased for the machine not the selling price of a new machine. Told them just to exchange machine. Next problem item out of stock until March/April and store not allowed to back order it.



Asked for full refund on my debit card only to be told they cannot and they have to give me a credit note.



Not only by this stage had they lost a loyal customer of over 30 years but the customer service was so absolutely pathetic and appalling I decided to get legal advice, contact my bank, BBC Watchdog and ITV’s Martin Lewis.



My bank informed me that as the transaction was over 120 days old AND they offered a credit note the bank were unable to do a chargeback crediting my card.



I then contacted the Knowhow warranty department to cancel the extended warranty and receive a full refund. LG offer a two year warranty on their Fridge Freezers. I was under the impression from the salesperson that the warranty I had paid for was to extend the warranty for three more years when the statutory warranty had expired. Oh no I was told you will only get 4/5 ths of what I had paid. In other words you have purchased double insurance for the first two years. CAUTION you are only able to claim for foods lost in the freezer. They will not cover food in the Fridge which in my case as I was on a medical diet and juicing I lost over £130 in food and Vegetables which were purchased only on the Monday before. Even with the receipt I will to add insult to injury will not be covered.



Today I was informed that Currys will now pick up the machine tomorrow and issue a worthless credit note as I have no intention of every purchasing from them again. I contacted AO ordering a new FF. it will arrive on Sunday.

Ordered a washing machine to be delivered on Sat. Took time off work to wait in for delivery. Got a txt to say item would be with me between 7.50am and 11.50am. Waited till 1.30pm and rang customer services to be told it wouldnt be delivered. Re booked to be delivered today (Sun 15 Oct). Booked an other day off work. Waited till 1pm no sign on item even though txt said it would be here before 11am today. Rang them 3 times to be told it wouldnt be delivered today as van broke down????? No txt or phone call from Currys to let me know what was going on. So annoyed Iv taken 2 days off work unpaid for nothing.

Awful service. We ordered a dishwasher, cooker and hood all placed as one order to be delivered today. We waited in and the dishwasher arrived, after 6:30 I tried to chase the order online and the delivery said tomorrow (19th) so I called Currys. They advised there was no problem with the order and the driver would call, there was no call so I called them again. Another person told me the van had broken down and we should have been contacted and the driver would call,we were not contacted. I called a third time and they advised the delivery had been rebooked for the next day but they could not give me a time slot and it could be anytime from 7am to 7 pm. I told the advisor that I was at work and could not just take another day off to wait, although they said the driver would call 30 minutes before I don't have much hope. We are having the kitchen renovated and this means the fitters will be delayed and we may have to pay extra for them to come back out. After spending over £1000 I would expect better better customer service, next time I will go to AO or somewhere which appreciates their customers and keeps them informed!
