Damascena Coffee House Harborne

On 29th August we received a number of calls from customers stating they were charged twice. We advise all customers to check their statements and be in touch with their banks. We have called our card processing company and they have stated that all customers affected will be reimbursed. We have been in touch with all customers affected to follow up on this issue. Only 2 customers have been reimbursed so far. We would like to re-assure customers that this is completely out of... our hands and that they should be in touch with their banks.
Damascena has asked First Data for an explanation and reassurance that this will not happen again.

Update: thank you to all those who got in contact. We now have the names of the 2 individuals and have updated the police. One of the individuals turned up with his parents yesterday after visiting the police station. We would like to thank his parents for doing the right thing and as a result we have decided to remove their pictures. We hope these two individuals can learn from this experience.
Damascena is very happy to be part of the Harborne community and again, thank you... all for being so supportive.

Yesterday (Sunday) 3am our roof alarm was triggered by these two. They climbed on to the roof of Costa Coffee and then attempted a break in into our premises. Thankfully we arrived within 5 minutes and these 2 were still stuck on the roof. They ended up climbing down from SainsburyŌĆÖs car park were we gave chase on Station Road but they eventually got away.
Do you recognise these two? The police have been informed but unfortunately they havenŌĆÖt been in touch or turn up. We want to give them as much information as possible.

Opening Update:
We anticipated the opening to be this week but due to our furniture (which is hand made to order outside the U.K.) being held in a container by Border Officials in Felixstowe for the past 12 days we are now playing a waiting game. All we have been told is that there is a backlog of containers being processed through security.
We have been kept in the dark on when the delivery will be made and the frustration for us is that we canŌĆÖt have an official opening dat...e yet.
We will post an update as soon as we know more.

Update:
We are excited to announce that we are in the final phase of work. The new Damascena has been very challenging but we are pleased to say it is now near completion. We hope to update you by the end of March.
