Some great fun had today in hand! A variety of issues tackled and some happy people and ponies! 😁 Next one 10th March £15 per person up to groups of 4, beginners /novice and advanced will be grouped together. Spectators welcome £5 per person

I'm looking at doing a special discounted rate for local riding clubs to have monthly training days at £15 per person for shared sessions! I love teaching all levels of riders and horses so if you help run local riding clubs and want to benefit from this training get in touch! I'm fully insured, UKCC level 3 dressage coach trained in biomechanics and sports psychology! Sessions are fun and helpful and hopefully give a clear plan of action for future sessions. A really fun way to help your horse work out how to use his core, get you to ride with more feel and accuracy. If your horse has a weak medium trot or a walk with a bad rhythm then these exercises will help you develop them. Improve suppleness, accuracy, core strength, activity of the hind legs, increasing engagement and improving lengthen strides. Today was my first outing here for a shared polework lesson. I was very impressed with not only the facilities but also have friendly everyone was. Leonie was so understanding and really listened to what I was saying. She gave excellent tuition and advice which was effective with my cob . Definitely recommend and won’t hesitate to go again. My 11 year old daughter has been training with Leonie for the past 5 months with her new pony. From the very first lesson we noticed a huge improvement with the way Jasmine was riding, Leonie's techniques are easy to understand and my daughter always enjoys her lessons. I have tried a few instructors and when I booked to visit Leonie at Daneswood Dressage my confidence was probably none existent.



As an adult beginner who had only every been a happy hacker and hoping to conquer the world of Dressage I had found it a little intimidating to say the least . After working with Leonie for only a few months we had built on my confidence together and I was out completing at Prelim with the lovely Dollyanna . I am excited to say we will entering our first British Dressage Competition this April.



Being a beginner I always remember she was the only trainer who asked me on a scale of 1-10 how I was feeling on the first time entering her arena , this put me at ease straight away, Leonie really listened to me and how I was feeling and that I will never forget.



I am so grateful for all of her support and am still amazed by how far me and Dollyanna have come in such a short amount of time .



Honestly from experience if you are starting out Leonie at Daneswood Dressage is well worth a visit I would recommend her to all and she will help you get the confidence, believe in yourself and get out there!!:-D

After a major dip in confidence and my drrssage scores slipping I was stuck & ready to give up competing!! I started having lessons with Leonie in spring/Sumner last year (2016) & the difference is amazing! My boys attitude to work has completely changed, he has come on so far & working like a totally different horse. I have horrendous competition nerves and Leonie has not only given me the confidence to get back out competing....but actually ride the test (I think I used to navigate & hope for the best!!) And dare I say it.....enjoy it!? � So My first two outings in nearly 14 months....I won all 3 elementary tests I entered and I even had the confidence to do my first medium, and gain a very respectable score!! I'm over the moon and it really is thanks to Leonie, I definitely wouldn't be out competing if it wasn't for her....and certainly not at medium �

Absolutely fantastic! Great place to stay and train yourself and your horse ! Leonie is patient, enthusiastic and her methods really work ! Great improvement seen in both our horses over the 3 days ! Highly recommend anyone to make a holiday of it !!
