With a heavy heart I have to say my Dad Brian passed away today. Without him Dashing Blades wouldn’t be here not to mention me.

Happy Chinese year new. What better way to celebrate the year of the pig than a picture from a Japanese tv show about a religion that started in India. It is about China.

The bountifully bearded brilliant beardologist Rob Walton aka Dashing blades, has expanded his operation. Don't worry though, you will get the same friendly, personal service and attention to detail as ever. If you haven't had a trim from the Dashing Blade yet, pop over to Fargo Village now, no appointment needed.

Rob is a true gentleman. Dapper and dashing and the deliverer of a fine haircut and a great beard reshape.



Not only that but he has a great range of products and I also invested in the beard elixir and moustache modifier. After searching around for a wax and trying a few different, it's the best I've used. Good hold but without changing the colour and looking totally unnatural.



I'm not saying that Rob is a scissor wielding sorcerer...but after talking about an impending interview he did say he had a record of his haircuts getting people jobs. Well, it worked again this time!

Rob is a true gent and the whole ambience of the shop is wonderful. Always welcoming and the attention to detail to both customer and decor is second to none.

Rob always does an amazing job on my hair and beard, even if I haven’t got a clear idea of what I’d like done. Everyone is friendly and easy to get along with, they give fantastic advice, the prices are amazing and the beard oils smell absolutely beautiful. Best barber shop I’ve ever visited �

I literally popped in here when visiting the Phil Silvers museum. It looked a cool little barber shop and hey, I needed a hair cut. Rob is a great guy. He gave me a great cut and had a nice chat with him. Definitely worth going in when I'm visiting the U.K.

Had a cracking cut yesterday from Josh. Calm, welcoming environment with barbers who know their stuff. Josh talked throughout the cut to me about what he was doing, and constantly checked in on whether I was happy with the cut. Good price for students like myself too. Would highly recommend, good job everyone!

Fussy 14 yr old had the hair cut he has always wanted. He has tricky hair.. double crown and cows licks. The lady knew what she was doing, worth every penny

First trim of the beard and first haircut here today and i am very pleased with the outcome. Much tidier and neater, Wonderful Job and really good pricing.

As the name suggests, this is more than just a haircut-hut. Despite the fair prices, the place has a rich, bohemian aesthetic due to strong colour-schemes, idiosyncratic decor and cool-jazz/bebop playing through the speakers (no MTV or thumbed-through copy of The Sun in site). I had a smashing trim and a really funny chat with the staff. DB is a social and cultural experience rather than a run-of-the-mill, drop-by vanity-cut... Haircuts are rarely the highlight of my day and I wish I could feel cool more often now.
