Deaf Direct have received a generous donation of three Komelon 5m tape measures from Advent Tools in Coleshill, Warwickshire.
Barry Ross, equipment service officer, said that these will be extremely useful when measuring room sizes for induction loop systems that we install, as well as for general use in our main offices in Worcester. We install quality induction loop systems in community centres, village halls, churches, hotels and conference rooms and it is important that ...we use quality tools to do this. As a charity for the deaf and hard of hearing, we are well aware of the difficulties that can be experienced in group settings when you can’t hear the speaker or conversations properly. The induction loop systems that we install ensure that all those present can fully participate in the meetings. We are very grateful to Advent Tools for their support.

If you are ill and need advice you can call NHS111 through an interpreter. In the video, Lisa explains what happened when she called NHS111.

Good afternoon! This is just a polite notice to let you know that...we need you to bring our Parking Permit cards back!!
As you know, when you arrive at our Deaf Direct office in Worcester, if you've brought a car you require a Parking Permit to park on our premises.
We know how much you love your visits here and your BSL classes and your 3 hour meetings...but please bring them back to us upon your departure! 😁😊

Little Hands will now be running monthly on the first Thursday of the month 10.30-11.30am but with a fantastic new look.
The group will now consist of a 30 minutes Sing and Sign BSL session – come and learn some BSL signs with your little ones in a fun way through songs, stories and play. This will be followed by a 30 minute free play session where you can chat with other parents and Deaf Direct volunteers and play with our wide selection of toys, as always we will end with t...he parachute and bubbles.
These sessions are only Β£3.50 per child, we have limited space so please book on! Places will be issued on a first come basis, get on the waiting list now!
Parents, Carers, Grandparents and siblings all welcome.

It's very nearly Christmas and we all know we are bound to get some unwanted gifts! Why not keep them for us and donate them to the charity? We can then sell these on or use them in our fundraising efforts! Gift us your unwanted gifts! #unwantedgifts #socks #charity
