We’re very proud to announce that we have been awarded the highest 5 star rating by Wyre Forest District Council for our Animal Welfare standards.
The new nationwide regulations were introduced in 2018, which require all animal care businesses to be audited against strict welfare and administrative standards. Due to backlogs in the system, we were inspected in May this year and have now finally received our result.
We’re very proud of achieving the 5 star rating, which is the... culmination of 35 years of experience and many months of hard work by the whole team to bring that experience together for inspection.
We hope this will help all our customers feel even more secure when entrusting their beloved pets to our care and we promise to keep improving our standards even further.

If you are thinking of travelling abroad with your pets this summer you need to think about going to see your vet now...there may be changes ahead with Brexit. Take a look at the defra website and the pet travel scheme. Even if your dog has been to the EU before if they haven't had a rabies titre test they will need one. Then it's 3 months after the successful blood test that they can travel. If you have to start from scratch it can take 4 months.... This is because you will need a rabies vaccination, at least 30 days later have a blood test to check titre levels, if levels ok you then have to wait 3 months before you can go. Corran is ok because she had her passport in 2008 and has had the blood test and rabies vaccines kept up to date. Sancho however has had the rabies vaccination but was never required to have the blood test. I have just had this done to check his titre levels. If his levels are ok it will still be 3 months before he can travel. Assuming a worse case scenario with Brexit. Just offering advice. Go and look on defra. 😀ps I'm not saying I know everything 🙂 Speak to your vet or defra they will be able to offer full advice.
