We love Delightful Desserts. Amazing choice of ice creams and desserts. The cookie dough is incredible. Really friendly and accommodating staff, Charlotte is especially helpful and always remembers the children’s orders. Such a great treat place! Good pricing, great selection of drinks too.

Popped in for an afternoon treat with my wife and 3 year old son yesterday. Great selection of desserts at good prices, large helpings and friendly and quick service. Loved it, and we will be back :)

My son and I enjoyed the most wonderful fresh exciting ice-cream and waffles at Delightful Deserts this weekend.



We had heard only good things about the cafe since it opened from local friends.



Living in Kenilworth for 5 years and eating out at least 5 times a week unfortunately we hardly ever eat in Kenilworth. I have persisted in trying to support local business however have found Kenilworth restaurants to be mostly style over substance, if we are lucky to have a descent service the standard, quality and care shown is never consistent.



What an absolute pleasure to find on our doorstep a cafe which has a charming atmosphere, friendly, efficient and competent staff and absolutely mouth watering treats.



I know where food is concerned I am a hard lady to please but I will be bringing friends, family and even business colleagues here.

My first time here today with my friend Chris what a great place . Lovely staff great crepes and the manager Jo what a star. If you have a sweet tooth get yourself down here and it’s open till ten pm

Me and my daughter have enjoyed some girly time here. Service is always with a smile and the ice creams are yummy! Can’t wait to spend more time in the summer months trying out the rest of the menu!

I decided to treat my wife for a birthday treat and placed an order. I'm not normally a fan of desserts really but thought I'd give it a go and glad I did...... wow talk about chocolate overload the food was amazing!! we ordered the oreo waffles as we never tried waffles before and they were lovely gonna try more soon. we also ordered the double chocolate chip cookie dough. this stuff is amazing I could of ate a bucket full!! even though it was very chocolatey none of it was sickly just had a really fresh rich taste to them and finished off with hot chocolate filled with marshmallow and a flake! I seriously recommend trying delightful desserts out. the service is great and the staff very friendly and if you have a sweet tooth I would certainly try these guys out. 10 out 10. I certainly will be having more!!

Had the fudge cookie dough 2 days in a row!! Really friendly staff!! Nice variety on the menu compared to contenders!! Reasonable price!! Clean store!! If I was going to criticise I would say the cookie dough on the first day was a little over done and hard around the outside. Other than that... spot on!!

Celebrated my son's 8th Birthday here today, had a wonderful party for 6 children. Organised beautifully and very accommodating, special thanks to our party host, Charlotte, who managed to keep 6 hyper sugar filled children entertained and under control! And Phil, for mopping up the spillages! Will definitely be using this service again and would highly recommend to all.

A very popular place, even on a cold snowy day! And even with it being so busy our order came out quickly. If you're a turkish delight fan you're in luck. Try the waffle! My partner had the cookie dough which was soft, sticky and delicious. A well deserved 5*

Amazing puddings! Been a few times and will go again. However as we all had crepes the service was a little slow and all came out at different times, maybe they need another crepe maker to speed things along at these times.

Firstly puddings are amazing & pricing very competitive, but have to agree on the timing issue, deserts seemed to be made & served one at a time so by the time the last member of our party was served everyone else had finished !also there were plenty of staff but no one seemed to want to clear tables ?think it needs someone to take charge to keep customers returning.

Mother’s Day treat.

Not particularly busy,

staff friendly enough.

Dirty tables.

Waited absolutely ages for the food about 40 minuets.

All our food came out separately, so by the time I had finished mine, my brother in law was just getting his.

The food was good, 2 cookie dough and one waffle.

Milkshakes came out after we had all eaten and even they came out 10 minuets apart from each other.

Not impressed with the milkshakes they were quite warm and very watery.

I will go back and try again, as I know all new ventures need time to settle in and can have teething problems.

My personal opinion is you need a more mature manager on at all times, the staff were all lovely but very young and could possibly do with a bit more training.

Staff are lovely, but took an age to make 4 milkshakes, due to having only one blender. Desserts came out at different times. 1 cake miss sold due to a poor order/check system and a hot chocolate came out after everyone else had finished. Shame as I was hoping to hold my son's birthday party there.

Not impressed. Our order took 20 minutes to come out and when it did, the order came out one by one so the first dessert was finished by the time the 4th dessert came out. Nutella isn’t used as advertised, its tubs of “N’tella” chocolate. As for the £3.95 Fruit platter. That consists of two sliced Strawberries and a sliced banana with a little jug of chocolate sauce! Disappointment not Delightful!

Let me first start by saying the waffles here are amazing. Really delicious. However the time you wait for them is ludicrous.



If you eat in expect a 25 minute wait at least. If you order a cold drink that won’t appear for at least 10 minutes. The longest I’ve waited was 40 minutes and that was after reminding staff twice I was asked had I paid and ordered. As I sit here I’m watching a mom and son waiting 15 minutes for two ice creams. Nothing fancy, two strawberry scoops in a cone. 15 mins and still not served. Another two people have since gone up for waffles and they are still waiting for food and are now complaining. This isn’t a one off. I’ve been in 3 times in total as I thought maybe I’ve come during a busy period and I’d give it another chance but as I look around there’s maybe 8 people sat in and one poor bloke who is now waiting 20 mins for a single ice cream.



It seems they make food in order, which is madness. Put someone on the ice cream during busy periods, increase your turnover and keep queues down. Serving ice cream quick is an easy win. That leaves two people to make food for those dining in. They have two waffle makers which clearly isn’t enough for this busy diner.



This place has massive potential but the woefully slow service is ridiculous. Whoever owns this franchise needs to look at training staff as I’m looking at three very confused members of staff who aren’t sure whose orders are whose or if they are still in the diner.



I can’t fault the food but don’t be in a hurry to go anywhere.

Went into this shop for an ice cream for my daughter. Her Dad, nan & I decided to have one too. We all sat down & were told the ice creams will be with you soon. 10 mins passed and still nothing. I went to the loo came back & saw all of our ice creams sat on the hot side, behind the counter, (the heat in the shop was ludicrous!), they remained there for another 15 mins, we had to approach staff about it. The ice creams were all sloppy & we only got them one at a time. The ice creams were nothing special! The raspberry sorbet was OK, but nothing to write home about. My daughter didn’t like the milky bar flavour as it was all runny (the flavour was sickly too) so I gave her my sorbet (the bit that hadn’t melted), I was seriously disappointed. Oh and the kinder Bueno ice cream was disgusting! AVOID!
