The Dog and Bull is open all day with our full Sunday menu, our 2 & 3 course Set Menu priced at £14.50 for 2 course and £18.50 for 3 course and we know it is hot and you may just want something light to eat so we have our Light Bite & Sandwich menu as well. Without doubt, delicious food, beautiful interior, helpful friendly staff, would recommend to all. Can just have a drink, no feeling of only a restaurant as tables not permanently laid up with cutlery. Many well thought out ideas, even games to play at tables if you wish. Will be going regularly.

Went for Mother’s Day meal yesterday and couldn’t fault anything. The food was amazing and plenty of it,would definitely recommend

Visited today with my mum and 2 children whilst we've been away on a weekend break. Staff were very welcoming and the food was gorgeous. Would definitely visit again when in the area. Thank you �

Thanks so much to the lovely people at the Dog and Bull who kept me going all day whilst supporting the 12 hour cycle event outside, and then jump started my car as my battery was flat. �️�️

Me and my hubby love coming here for lunch and today we came as a family for Fathers Day it was a beautiful roast and dessert and the children’s menu is very good too highly recommend this place xxx

Lovely staff, even though it was really busy with a large birthday party there was not much of a wait on food. The food was tasty, generous portions and great value for money. It was our first visit and we will definitely return ! Even more of a plus that they accept dogs ��

Lovely place called in on route home for a sandwich.. very nice food and staff who were all young girls very friendly.

Lovely food great range of beers too, kids play area so great for a family meal.

I don't often do reviews but will definitely make an exception for The Dog & Bull. Sunday lunch for 15 today, including 3 children and a baby in a highchair was fantastic! Great food, staff and service, we will certainly be back - recommended!

Had a lovely meal. Roast beef was perfect. Veggies well cooked, turkey leek and grain mustard pie I’m told was delicious. The fish was like a whale in batter and again went down a treat.

Sticky toffee pudding was a delight and the the chocolate bread and butter pudding also was to die for.

Well worth the visit for the family.

Great pub. Warm welcoming atmosphere and the staff are always friendly and chatty. Love the food, crackling fire and kids enjoy the jenga! Our bulldog loves it too (when she gets a treat).

Great value for money and will be visiting again with the kids too next time as plenty of menu choices for the little ones too � friendly staff very helpful with any issues ��

Called in today just coz we fancied some good pub grub.... Sam had a steak & I had the steak & ale pie... we were not let down....

Suprb food of ample portions, delivered swiftly... washed down with a couple of pints of well poured Salopian Gold.

Really nice experience for very reasonable prices

Would fully recommend & we will be returning..

First visit in quite some time. Booked a table for 7 of us. Staff were lovely and friendly, we all chose different meals and they were all lovely, very generous portion size, we could just about fit in a dessert, which again was very generous size. Reasonable prices too. Will definitely be going back. Happy customers 👍.

Booked in as a group of 16 with a dog. Couple of drinks in sunny beer garden, then to a well appointed bar, carvery and limited menu were the options. Good choice none the less. Very friendly staff, not rushed and told when non carvery dishes were coming out so we all ate together. Definite return if in area.

Had a meal with my parents. The Thai Fishcakes were well over cooked and so were the chips! Pretty disappointing for the price. However great staff and lovely place

Went for lunch today, wasn't a great experience for the price, the beef was terrible couldn't even cut/chew it! All the serving utensils were filthy and covered in different foods than the pot they were in! (Everything seemed to have mashed carrots in) when we arrived the serving dishes were all open (no lids) therefore we thought our food was served cold! Don't think I'd go again!

Had a smashing meal here tonight with my partner but noisy kids running up and down the pub have spoiled it for us. They were here before we arrived and after we left and didn't even have a meal, it was like an after school club. Sorry, but won't be returning
