Further to our update last night, please see below for an official message from Worcestershire Library Service:
In response to the latest government announcement to support social distancing and prevent the spread of infection from COVID 19, all Worcestershire Libraries will be closed from Tuesday 24 March until further notice.
We have extended the return date for all library loans until further notice which will ensure that customers do not need to renew their library loans ...and will not build up library fines. Unfortunately we will not be able to meet any outstanding reservations or accept new reservations.
You can find details of how you can download free e books, e audiobooks and e magazines and access other online services on the Library web pages http://www.worcestershire.gov.uk/…/eres ources_and_online_in…
Over the coming days we will update our webpages and social media channels with links to online services for library customers and will work closely with other Council Services to identify new ways for libraries to support communities.
