About Droitwich Spa Rotary
We meet at the Gaudet Luce Golf and Leisure Complex, Middle Lane, Hadzor, Droitwich, WR9 7JR at 1230 most Tuesday lunchtimes. We have some evening meetings and sometimes jointly with Droitwich Spa Inner Wheel.
Droitwich Spa Rotary Description
Droitwich Spa Rotary Club was formed in 1938 and the first President was Dr J Patterson. It is known to many residents of the town as the people who organise Santa's Sleigh each year.
We meet each week, usually at lunchtimes, and welcome new members.

We were delighted today to have a visit from Wendy and John Pepper of the Macular Society and learn all about macular degeneration. We learnt how Wendy copes with it yet were amazed at some of the places which has visited and how well she is able to ski.
It was good that some members of North Worcestershire Rotary Club were also able to join us.
Congratulations to John Bodger and Sandy Laird, who at our Charter Lunch on Sunday 25 February 2018, were presented with certificates by President Mel Bates in recognition of their outstanding service to the Club.
The lunch was held at Hogarth's Stone Manor on a beautiful sunny day.

Please note that from 4 on Saturday 23 December, it is hoped that the sleigh will be able to cover roads missed on two evenings due to the snow. In order to cover as much as possible it is likely that the sleigh will not visit every road on the list but keep to principal roads through each area = please listen out for us. Regrettably, due to the condition of the pavements, tonight's sleigh has had to be cancelled. It will be outside Waitrose during the day on Friday and Saturday.
It is hoped that the pavements will have thawed out enough to allow tomorrow evening's sleigh outing to happen as planned.
The Route for tonight Addyes Way / Showell Road has been cancelled due to the dangerous and slippery conditions underfoot. The Sleigh will be outside Waitrose during the day on Friday and Saturday so please visit us there. Thank you for you understanding.

Due to the likelihood of ongoing bad weather and frost, it is highly unlikely that it will be possible to cover these roads on any other evenings.
