Dru Yoga is a graceful and potent form of yoga, based on flowing movements, traditional yoga postures, directed breathing and visualisation. With its foundations set firmly in ancient yogic tradition, Dru works on body, mind and spirit—improving strength and flexibility, creating core stability, building a heightened feeling of positivity, and deeply relaxing and rejuvenating your whole being.
Designed to be practised by people of all abilities, all fitness levels and all age groups, Dru is a style of yoga that can be quickly dipped into or learnt in more depth over a lifetime

Happy Chinese New Year 2018. As it is the Year of the Dog, maybe you could endeavour to practise Downward facing Dog on a regular basis, to strengthen the backs of the legs, open the heart, extend the spine and increase blood flow and oxygen to the brain. :)

Here's a good one for you - Face yoga. Not just for vanity but for feeling rejuvenated. We do a little bit of this at the end of our class before relaxation and it feels great.

Have you got a sore throat? Try the Lion posture (also known as Simhagarjasana in Sanskrit). It is great for strengthening the throat, the voice and the lungs. It alleviates a sore throat by drawing blood to, and thus stimulating the tonsils. It may look funny but works wonders. Maybe you should do it when no-one is looking ;p 1. From a seated position with the hips on the heels and the palms resting on the knees, inhale and reach the crown of the head up to lengthen ...the spine. 2. As you exhale, bring the palms to the floor in front of the knees, arch the spine, look up at the third eye point, stick out the tongue and roar like a lion (Haaa!) out of your mouth. 3. Inhale back to the starting position and repeat 2-5 times.
Do not do this posture if you have a neck, head, knee injury,
