Very good family day out, we've never had any of the problems reviewed by other people in the 10+ years we have been going, not saying that it hasnt happened but never to us. We always travel by car so unsure on the £2 per person entry fee. Yes the toilets are disgusting but its a market with old porta-loo's seen similar standard at other events so not shocked. Some days it can be hit or miss but it depends what your looking for and the weather forecast still a nice wander round though. Ive had positive experiences with the car park staff as they have pushed us out a couple of times when the car park was boggy and i got stuck, downside of low profile wheels and lowered car lol. Overall you can get yourself some good bargains, selection of catering vans selling all types of food, sometimes a bar is on, different attractions (reptiles and snakes this last time) and some of the biggest inflatable toys for the kids to enjoy. Can be a cracking day out.

I've been going to eccleshall market since the the mid 70's, the most recent one was August 28th 2017, its a good market, could do with a better selection of stalls, to many selling the same stuff, E cigs, mobile phone accessories, etc. If the weather's fine you can have a nice few hours..

People were rude on the gate and it's more like a fake market and 0ver priced fakes at that and they try say they are genuine lol

Terrible- we were charged £2.00 per person to enter the market. We were told it's either £2.00 per person or £2.00 per car. We cycled to the market but still had to pay £2.00 per person. The man who was on the gate was terrible rude, both my mum and I felt intimidated and slightly threatened by him and the two other men that were standing over us. At one point I stepped back from him and asked him to stop shouting at us as I was slightly scared.

Once in we used the toilet - I know it's a market so not to expect too much but even saying that they were in disrepair, they were filthy, toilet seats broken, no toilet paper, no hygienic soap or gel, no paper towels to dry hands.

The site boasts 600 stalls, this was definitely not the case.

A terrible experience and I strongly urge people not to waste your time.

It's such a shame that this market has gone down bank as it used to be good but I feel greed has taken over and sadly will just fade away.

Saw an elderly couple who'd walked instead of come in the car and they were trying charge them £2 each to enter.... the staff were so rude to them telling them next time come in the car and you'd pay less

The car park staff (morons) ruin it for you!

User

Load of rubbish hardly any market just load of junk of a car boot.

User

It's a shame incompetent rude staff on the car park spoilt a good family day out at the market! Swearing at the customers in front of children and when told that children were present the response was "I don't give a fuck" great customer service. I think the person who runs the whole thing needs a review of the staff he uses !
