Busy few days for Eccleshall RUFC's finest...
On Wednesday we welcomed over 80 local school children to Baden Hall for a Megafest. On Friday players past and present came together to remember one of our own.
On Saturday our 1XV & 2XV represented our club on the fields of Old Saltleians RUFC and Rugeley RUFC before joining the celebrations at our ERUFC Ball
... This morning our junior section welcomed both Telford RUFC and Market Drayton RUFC and celebrated the 2018-19 season with presentations for each and every age groups.

The shirt is signed by Ben Kay, Will Greenwood, Lawrence Dallaglio, Jonny Wilkinson, Paul Grayson and 2003 captain Martin Johnson, as well as current England Coach (and Coach of Australia in that famous final) Eddie Jones.

Great to see Finley Kent making his debut for Staffordshire U15s this afternoon against Cheshire. Finley currently plays his rugby at Stone RUFC but is very much a product of ERUFC's Junior section and will no doubt follow in the footsteps of both his Mum and Dad "running" out at Baden Hall in the future.

Some days the results are secondary. ERUFC this afternoon came together to remember one of our own. Our 1XV and 2XV gave a great account of themselves but both came up short.
Thank you to all those that wore the shirt and those that came to support them, we would not be the club we are without you all.
Onwards and upwards..

It is with great sadness that we advise of the untimely death of Danny Cooper. Danny passed away last week, leaving ERUFC "broken hearted".
Danny had been a active club member for well over 35 years.
At 1500 prior to this Saturday's 1XV league game we will be holding a minutes silence to remember Danny and the massive contribution he made to our club. We invite former teammates and his many friends from our local community to join us at Baden Hall.

Mixed fortunes for ERUFC over the weekend with our 1XV recording a 30-30 draw with Handsworth and our 2XV coming second to a strong and physical Leek 3rds.
Alan Bishton & Tim West did reach the semi finals of the darts but the final was an all Eccleshall Cricket Club affair. Congrats to winner Myles "the milky bar kid" Coughlan
We still have tables and individual tickets for sale for the ERUFC Ball on Saturday April 6th. It's always a great night so don't delay get your ticket ASAP.

GAME DAY and what a lovely day for it. ERUFC's 1XV are at Handsworth this afternoon and our 2XV are at HOME, KO IS 1500 against Leek.
Don't forget tonights sporting spectacular as we take on Eccleshall Cricket Club at Darts..

BIG sporting weekend for ERUFC with the 1XV traveling to Handsworth RUFC and the 2XV hosting Leek RUFC at Baden Hall KO at 1500.
Saturday night at Roy Thomson Memorial Ground ERUFC finest " tungsten tossers" take on ECC at Darts. This annual fixture is always a cracking night bar open from 1800 the action starts at 1900.
Sunday we have u10s, u11s and u12s attending the Lichfield Festival

THIS SATURDAY ERUFC'S FINEST DARTS PLAYERS WILL BE IN ACTION AS WE AGAIN TAKE ON ECCLESHALL CRICKET CLUB.
ALWAYS A GREAT NIGHT AND BE GOOD TO HAVE SOME VOCAL SUPPORT FOR OUR BOYS .
