We were sat in the Lower South Stand and it was the best day out on Finals day yet. We have been every year for the past 5 years and sat all over the ground (apart from the party stand as we have kids) and this one was the best one yet, entertainment, view, seating next to the players dressing room. Will be back next with with the mighty Lancashire Lightenings for our trophy!!!!

User

We came down on Monday with my 2 sons for the money can't buy experience with the All Stars to meet some of the England Cricket team. What a fantastic day we had, all the staff we met were friendly and helpful and the ground itself is amazing. We will definitely be back to watch a match one day as have loved watching the test game on the tele to spot where we had been and the player we had met!

User

This is a seriously good day out. We have been to lots of big sporting events before but edgbaston is one of my favourite grounds. Went with my son who loves cricket and my wife who is not a huge fan but we all had such a great day from start to end. So much going on in addition to great cricket. You had to queue for various things but with 25k there that is expected. Well done edgbaston, we will be there next year too hopefully!

User

Loved the fireworks event. My only criticism is that there's not enough food and drinks stalls as the ques were ridiculous long. If we were to wait we would have missed the start of the display.

User

I met staff here as a volunteer for the Birmingham Vegan Festival. They are friendly, helpful and welcoming from the minute I drove in upto the minute I drove out: I think they all deserve a shout out for being great ambassadors!

User

Great time yesterday! Cracking seats and view. Was a bit chaotic trying to get food before the final. Can you please keep me posted when next years final tickets become available as we booked this years in Oct 2016?

User

Excellent day at T20 finals, have been several years running. This is first time I've used disabled facilities due to arthritis & needing leg room, great disabled sweats, plenty of leg room & near sky pod, disabled parking at the ground. One thought for another year, I struggle to stand for long periods of time & when checking in it took a long time which I understand, but maybe there could be a queue for disabled people as well. Otherwise a great day, we'll run.

User

As a member of Warwickshire CCC I'm well aware of the atmosphere at big games at Edgbaston and the T20 finals was no exception. In fact, I'd go as far as to say it was the best atmosphere yesterday (02/09/17) I can remember. Edgbaston is a one-off cricket ground for sure.

User

A review from a wheelchair users mum. Greeting on arrival and immediately taken to our seats. Turned out not to be our seats at which point the greeter panicked but a more senior man stepped in and took us through some very posh bits of the ground to the wheelchair seating. (he even carried my picnic) View from wheelchair area is great. (just behind the sky pod) although my son in his wheelchair called it a bat cave and you can't see high balls. A lovely toilet for just 20 people to use was a plus. Overall a great day out for my son and I. And we won. #outlawed

User

Took my 3 boys in the Drayton family stand, first time for all of us, absolutely loved it, prices are on the high side but I feel it's the same no matter what event you attend. The atmosphere is unrivalled by any other sport which good or bad is added to by the Hollies stand and the alcohol they've consumed, would be loved to be in there lol. Only one negative point the winners are presented long after the final ball to an almost empty ground, and facing away from others which have remained, winners should be allowed to bask in their glory to all.

User

The gap between the end of semi final matches and the start of the final was far too long

Never seen such huge queues for gents toilets, you need to double the available numbers.

Choice of food was good but way overpriced and very little areas to sit down and eat the food once bought.

Tannoy system quality is dreadful, its louder in the food area at the back of the stands.

Moans done...the day was full of good weather which made it good fun with some truly brilliant cricket.

User

Great ground and great T20 finals day BUT they have GOT to sort out their bar preparations. We were in the motorpoint stand where every drink was poured to order rather than them being prepoured drinks ready to serve. Also trying to get into the ground was not great - happy with security etc but it needs to be better organised. One guy scanning tickets and one guy patting you down per channel isn't enough when there are 20,000 people trying to get in!

User

First time to the Natwest T20 finals day. Great concept of two semi-finals and the final on the same day. Sat in row 3 of the Eric Hollies Stand. A fun atmosphere, interesting costumes, the crowd get into the spirit of pyjama cricket! Longish queues for food & drinks, and for toilets, and the Eric Hollies stand would benefit from a large screen opposite. Would recommend though

User

First time ever at the T20 finals thanks to winning tickets in the NATWEST draw. Really enjoyed the day and I thought everyone who worked at the ground were very attentive to the needs of a very excited crowd indeed the atmosphere was electric throughout the day . For taking liquid refreshment if you chose your bar right there was hardly any queuing. Unfortunately we did have to queue to get into the ground and subsequently missed five overs of the first game. We entered by E6 and whilst I fully appreciate the need for security, better organisation was needed. Having attended Trent Bridge for T20 games this season with big crowds I found entry at E6 to be frustrating. Queuing for food around the ground was also frustrating but I put that down to the size of crowd. The entertainment throughout the day was really good with good graphics on the two screens and the sound system made announcements very easy to listen to. I would seriously consider renewing your scoreboard though as I found this very hard to read and follow. However it was an excellent day. Well done Edgbaston and one again THANKYOU NatWest.

User

Fantastic atmosphere, great ground, but the only criticism is my father in-law is a wheel chair uses but does not require to use it all the time, so we needed somewhere to store it whilst we was sitting in our seats after asking lots security staff and at your main reception they told us to just leave it in the tunnel underneath the seating area where it is not secure which I was a little concerned that someone could just walk off with the chair. After walking around the ground talking to serveral members of your team and security team one of them agreed we could leave it in the entrance where the sky sports pod was which was secure and also there was lots of space there to store it. I think this needs addressing for next year. Thanks for a great day......well done the organization improves every year hopefully next year our experience will be even better!!

User

Brilliant day out yesterday, 2nd year in a row I have attended, great viewing experience and really good facilities. Did take to long to get in through the entrance by the indoor school one person doing ticket scanning and body searches was ridiculous and you could not hear Freddie and Bumble singing over speakers in RES Wyatt stand otherwise a great day out and looking forward to next year

User

Went to see the fireworks last night. I was appalled that none of the security staff were checking anyone’s bags and just letting anyone in. Also, sorry to say but the firework display team.. oh dear. They could really do with learning how to choreograph the display - it was so badly put on. Not just me, loads of people around me said the same. Better luck next time Edgbaston.

User

The fireworks display yesterday was very disappointing. Not value for money. Wasn't organised very well, didn't last very long and nothing special. Expensive fair and food stalls. Not very organised about which gate to enter by. Would not recommend and will not return.

User

Had tickets to see the T20 Blast against Yorkshire Vikings on 28/7/17, unfortunately rained off with no play, so I sent my tickets to address given on tickets om 30/7/17 to gain a refund, I also e-mailed on 17/8/17 with my e-tickets attached to ensure had got my claim for a refund, but was told had to wait 60 days which is fair enough, but had still not received anything in October do e-mailed Edgbaston Tickets on 10/11/17, received no reply, so e-mailed again on 20/10/17, received a reply 10 days later on 30/10/17 saying would get a cheque out ASAP, now the 13/11/17 and still no sign of a cheque/refund, really poor service.
