Angler Alan Waldron visited us today and had caught this and another lovely big common carp within minutes of casting out. This one weighed in at around 14lbs. He was using 8mm banded pellet in mid water. Alan said the fish was in lovely condition with lots of fighting spirit. 😀

Pleasure fishing Saturday 7th on Peacock and Pheasant Sunday on all pools
We'd like to congratulate angler Luke Simcox, 27, from Redditch for his outstanding results over the winter period. Fishing our open contests he has had some brilliants weights. Dec on Heron he weighed in 124 lbs (22 mirror and common) at 16 metres on the pole using maggot. 30th Dec on Pheasant an impressive 147 lbs (26 common and mirror carp) 14 meters dobbing with bread and maggot on the deck. 27th Jan on Heron 62lbs (14 common and mirror carp) at 16 meters the pole with maggot and pickie. Well done Luke, good to have some enthusiastic young blood in the sport.
Looking for a part time grounds man/gardener to help keep the place in good order. Varied duties, able to work on own with keen eye to see jobs that need doing. Flexible hours. Chainsaw qualification would be a great advantage. Please pm me for more details.

Went for a pleasure fishing session with a friend and his dad on friday as he has a competition there next week and i must say it's one of the best venues i've fished in a long time, started of fishing a 6m line as i saw some fish feeding there, fishing 6mm pellet over corn i had quite a few skimmers but i was only there for the carp so i was constantly feeding the margin as i normally would, about an hour and half into the session i decided to have ago in the edge and i didn't look back, i was feeding 4mm pellet over 6mm pellet and i was catching carp after carp, started on a size 12 elastic and i found i was bumping a couple of fish off, so i moved onto a size 6 elastic and that's where the fun really began...absolutely loved it and will definately be returning!!
Well kept fishery with fantastic pool. Fish were of a good weight and in fantastic condition. Great days competition
Well it's peace full and the senery is lovely there is 3 pooles that u can walk round and horses to look at just a lovely place and the oweners are lovely as well very polite and helpful
Superb afternoon / early evenings fishing at Elmbridge. Caught fish constantly for 6 hours, some right lumps in there as well. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings, no better way to spend a few hours. Gotta love Elmbridge x
My favourite fishery. I hold the current venue record with 330lb that was a day to remember!!!
Just had a weeks holiday in Nuthatch Cottage & was absolutely brilliant! lovely well equipted cottage overlooking the first lake some 20 paces to peg! The fishery is in such a tranquil & peaceful setting you may well think the world has passed by! Fishing was excellent on both this & the top lake (didn't manage to fish the specimen lake) with fish ranging between 4lbs & 11lbs 4oz. being a somewhat novice carp angler I was delighted as i've recently returned to fishing after a 45 year absence playing golf - never realised how peaceful it was. Will be hopefully back next year!
Great views, beautiful place, fab fishing, clean, big fish a plenty and really friendly people love days there with my fishing buddy .. one word "Fantastic"

Fished the open last Saturday and saw some nice lumps come out,I fished the opens regular about ten years ago but haven’t fished since,it’s still a great place to fish and seems to be full to the rafters with fish which is nice,the quality of the fish is second to none,£15 all in is reasonable too.
First time at the venue today fished the Thursday match ended winning with 72lb absolute fantastic day fishing loved every second just a good learning curve many thanks for a great day.
First time at Elmbridge today fished the Peacock pool and was ace beautiful fish and well maintained grounds will be here again soon !!
