Elmtree Pre-School

This week we are on Safari 🐅🐘🦓 Our base camp is all set and our first explorers are already on the look out, apparently there’s a tiger on the loose !!

🏮Chinese New Year🏮 Last week the children celebrated Chinese New Year, We painted our own Chinese numbers, tasted Chinese food and tried to eat with chopsticks. The Children all worked together to make a dragon for them to dance with.

Raindrops and rainbows, that was our outdoor play today. We love being outside whatever the weather ☀️🌈☔️

We are all set and ready for the new term today, looking forward to seeing all our little friends 😀

At this time of the year the local cobalt unit will recycle your old Christmas cards. There will be a box at Pre-school , if you would like to donate your old cards. Collection dates at Pre-school are 6th-10th January for us to have time to deliver them to the cobalt unit. Many Thank for your support and Happy New Year

Our children at Elmtree are amazing! Today they performed ‘ We’re going on a baby hunt’ in front of all the families at Elmtree. This year the children put their own ideas into what they wanted to sing and perform and they were fantastic, we are so proud of all of them😁

Just a reminder it’s our Christmas dinner tomorrow so the children won’t need their lunchboxes as we have lots of yummy food. Don’t forget the Xmas jumpers too 🎅🏻

Christmas has started at Elmtree, the polar express tuff spot has a big hit with the children 🎅🏻

💦 Closure💦 Thank you to all our parents for their understanding and cooperation today as we had to close. Unfortunately we will be closed Friday 15th Nov as well, as we currently have a problem with the drainage system due to the flooding and cannot use the toilets or sinks. We will keep you posted. Thank you ☔️

☔️We are open ☔️ Please be aware Kayte Lane is flooded in places but luckily is not effecting us at the moment. Our car park is very waterlogged so walkers please take care. See you soon 💦☔️

🎨 PAINT IT YOURSELF POTTERY 🎨 Just a reminder tomorrow ( Wed 13th Nov) we have paint it pottery coming to visit us in the morning. If you would like your child to make a special present for Christmas, please return your order form and money in the morning. Parents are welcome to stay and join in the creations.
