Make this lovely double sided cot quilt which doubles up as a play mat and later becomes a wall hanging.
Take quilting panel, backing and binding fabric and 100 % quilting wadding, Set up the sewing machine with machine quilting needle and quilting pins and finally assemble the quilt. Very easy project.

Why go to chain stores why go to markets why go to craft shows when you can have it all at Emms- I went there recently and it was a lovely experience, I was even offered a cuppa while looking round and I left feeling full of inspiration and a few pounds less in my purse ! As it was a Saturday I was even given a freebie thank you and I will certainly be going back :)

What an absolute treasure trove � visited this morning and had a wonderful chat, some excellent advice and came away with a beautiful 400g ball of aran. Will def be visiting again - their stock is fantastic and the staff really know their stuff. Thanks so much xx

Recently discovered this shop. Had a delightful evening at a hand dye course. Fun course that has opened new opportunities for my knitting creations. Lovely, friendly people and a well stocked shop, look forward to visiting again.

My daughters & I just love a visit to Emm's. It's a little treasure trove of needle crafting heaven. The staff are always happy to advise and help however small our project might be.

My daughter and I attended a teddy bear workshop at emms and have had a great day. Very good tuition and the ladies made the day really enjoyable. Will be attending more workshops. Thankyou ladies.

Loved this shop!! Didn't know it ever existed until 2 weeks ago and I was so pleasantly surprised with my visit there. Lots of wonderful supplies ... fabrics, kits, wool, patterns, handmade gifts. A surprise to find an independent shop not pretending to be a chain. Will always be heading here for my supplies in the future.

I'm a complete newbie to knitting. Sam from Emm's and Sew Much More helped me find the right wool and knitting needles. Fantastic service, excited to start my new project. Sam said I can go back whenever I want and he will help me with anything I need. Would genuinely recommend this shop to everyone.

I love going to Emms as its like visiting friends, it is such a friendly place. There is such a wide range of wools and colours and everything that goes with knitting. The owners are also very knowledgeable. They also run a couple of knit and natter groups which are well worth a visit.

Great personalable experience and very attentive, friendly staff. Not enough family-owned businesses these days and Emms is a refreshing change from this. Will definitely visit again.

EMMS is the place to go for all things knitting, crochet & sewing. It is divided into 2 shops with the one selling all things to do with knitting & crochet, with every nook & cranny stuffed with beautiful yarn, accessories, buttons, kits & patterns and the sewing shop has so much fabric, threads & patterns that I thought I'd died & gone to Heaven!! Nothing is too much trouble, they are happy to give you their time for any questions or advice. Even if Sam doesn't stock it then he will order it in for you (& it arrives quickly too!!) all in all a true Cornucopia of lovely stuff & lovely people for a Haberdashery Magpie like me!! Xxx❤️xxx
